Re: What are Whites deficiencies?

Yep, no response because I'm completely correct.

A purview of his career stats as a batsman show his utter mediocrity prior to this season.
No, its not worth it with you, you have nfi and are so one eyed its worthless

No, I'm not one-eyed.

I'm completely right and you have nothing in response.

His stats are definitive. Overall average of 29 in domestic four-day cricket, 30 last season and 31 the season before. Didn't even score a hundred last season.

Let's not kid ourselves. You have no answer. Your one-eyed championing of White has not accorded with his performances in any respect.

If you honestly believe a batsman can develop properly at no7 then you have NFI

Re: What are Whites deficiencies?

I dont know why anyone ever classified him as a leggie who can bat, even in the U/19s he was a batsman

Its called ignorance, most of them wouldnt have a clue that he batted at first drop in that tournament and scored heaps of runs

Re: What are Whites deficiencies?

He made 151 in 1 game I think in the u/19 World Cup.

Lets not use facts remember, he was a bowler before a batsmen according to most of the "experts" on this site

What are you talking about? Even eddie admitted as much.

When he started out in the juniours, not Victoria he was in the side as a batsmen

No he wasn't. I remembered watching him after his debut to see whether this 'leg-spin sensation' would make an impact.

He was primarily a bowler early on. Even eddie has admitted this.

Re: What are Whites deficiencies?

Just Maybe I think we all got your opinion on White after the first 5 posts, there was no need for the next 50.

Yes, McMillan was batting well, lets give him a ton:rolleyes:

No not really. He made two centuries in Melbourne District cricket as a 17 year old batting at ,from memory ,4 but because he also took wickets (6-6 in one innings) he was touted as an all rounder but was first and foremost a batsman.

Re: What are Whites deficiencies?

But he was picked for Victoria as a bowler. Even eddie has admitted this.

Re: What are Whites deficiencies?

Another eddie lie exposed. :)
I didnt say we picked him primarily as a bowler, he was usually still back then the 5th or 6th bowler used behind the large pace attack, I was just saying he got picked as the spinning option instead of say a Moss type who bowled medium pacers

So you're saying Victoria needed a spinner.

So they picked White.

So he was picked as a spin bowler.

Christ, you can't even follow thew logic of your own posts.

He was picked as a batsman who bowled spin like he is today, god you make up so much ******** If we were picking a pure spinner then McGain probably would have been picked

Bzzzt.

You admitted he was picked as a spinner.

Now you're backpedalling.

Shocking.

He was picked for Victoria to fill a gap as a spinner, but he was always primarily a batsmen even in his junior days;)
