Interesting that SJ is an emergency, if he was fit enough, you'd expect him to be in the seniors and if he isn't fit enough, then he should play a half or so in the magoos. Naming him as emergency doesn't make sense unless.....

Dog need match fitness so he will play VFL to get some miles into his legs.
Why is Shannon out do you think? Just giving him a rest to try and regain some of his early form. He's been quiet the last few weeks.

Why name Otto? Everyone knows he isn't going to play.
I agree. I think SJ may come in for him given that the Bulldogs aren't an overly tall side. Mooney can ruck when King doesn't because he won't be needed as much in defense against their small forward line.

Classy stuff.

You try playing without 5 of your top 10 players for 3-4 weeks....Oh that's right you did in Sydney. How'd that turn out for you?
Big difference, we have been through that type of situation and are sitting 3rd. Where are you guys on the ladder?

Don't worry, September is a great time for holidays... Great wheather.

i think we played against sydney with about 12 of our best players out. kind of hard to win in the AFL with your VFL team.
