Agreed, Tenace is much maligned by many people here - anyone would think he was Charlie Gardiner!! He has provided great run off a HBF this year and his kicking is much improved. Everyone kicks the odd shank, Corey, Enright, Kelly all do it but somehow seem to avoid the scrutiny that Tenace does.

His form didn't merit selection when he made his debut but he did well.

Essendon have named Fletcher at Full Forward. Are they having a laugh?

Well you are not usually on FTA so not alot. I thought that Hunt and Johnson were defenders but they seem like midfielders, I mean they have a midfielders body

And I play as Geelong in footy fanatic and they are both midfielders

He isn't as fast, that is obvious, however he has better disposal and he is an in and under midfielder. I'd rather have DJ in the team than Tenace.

You can't be serious. Tenace has never had a solid impact on a match. He has found some 'form' this year by getting a few touches when he has played.

But he has played off the half back flank, you could put anyone in the league there and they'd do exactly the same - it's the easiest position on the ground. His kicking in the Adelaide match was deplorable.

Tenace screws up 60-70% of the time he gets it, and always looks very indecisive and unconfident when he gets the ball.

Essendon are a very, very slow side through the midfield,pace and more pace will be their undoing.
Tenace will rotate through the half back line,breaking the lines ala Wojcinski.
Prismall is an on baller and for the moment their are no positions open to him.

If Hird plays forward then possibly Dasha or Enright. However, if he starts in the middle Ling will probably pick him up and then follow him into the forward line. Although, Ling might try and make the great man more accountable by pushing forward - i.e. Stevens vs Carlton.

I think Tenace is more experienced, faster on the dome track and in his games this year has done little wrong.

If you want to be angry at someone over Prismalls exclusion look no further than Selwood.

We lost a speed flanker/on-baller in Rooke and gained Tenance.

Its the in and under inexperienced but determined Selwood that is keeping Prismall out of the side.

Team balance, something that the cats finnaly understand.
