The constant reference of nicknames amongst each other (Heals, Slats, Tony G) and the players (Pup, Hadds)...maintain some professionalism please?? Otherwise it sounds so try hard, it's ok if it's like the ABC broadcast, but that seems more natural.

Not so much now, but at least in the Melbourne test I think Slater kept on saying Sehwag bats like 'Davey' Warner....well no, Warner bats like Sehwag if they are similar.

And also how they keep on going about 'Davey' Warners thick trunk, which allows him to be powerful and hit the ball a mile...and is so powerful and athletic.
Yeah he's exciting, but please, stop ****ing him with your eyes and commentate the cricket.

From the Sydney test (or Melbourne, maybe both), Chappell's rant about Tendaulkar at first slip and Dravid at 2nd, and saying you don't mess with your first slip (because Tendaulkar was soon moved) and saying Dravids better etc...well I'm sure the trio of Dhoni, Tendaulkar and Dravid figured it out, they would know what would be working better in the slips cordon then Chappell would..
And we heard this 4 or 5 times.

Let me see, these stupid polls as well. Who are they kidding as they have the polls up, each line changing. Surely it would be doctored to make it look like people are voting. If they have the number of voters they imply they do, then it would mean there would have to be a massive amount of voters to change it 1%. Or there has been only 50 people and therefore it doesn't represent anyone, as it is too small.

So much more as well, and I absolutely hate it, yet I still watch it.

Hussey took off for a quick single and when he got to the bowlers end, slid his bat and it got stuck under Ashwin's foot. The bat dug into the ground, Hussey fell over and probably would have been out if the throw had have hit the stumps. He otherwise would have been easily safe.

I haven't been the biggest fan of Clarke's and the pitch is a road, but the guy has made his second double century in three tests! They can pull all they like when he is making runs for fun like he is at the moment.

* I also hate the Channel 9 commentary, but don't think theres anything to complain about here.

One thing that irks me (apart from no HD coverage) is how the Ch 9 scoreboard always reads M.HUSSEY when he comes out to bat when others read PONTING, CLARKE etc. it should either be M.HUSSEY, R.PONTING, M.CLARKE or (preferably) HUSSEY, PONTING, CLARKE.

Also a question (don't want to start a new thread on it) are the Sri Lanka v India ODI's in the upcoming triangular series going to be on Nine or Gem?

D. Hussey hasn't played in any test matches and doesn't look like breaking into the team. Just "Hussey" would suffice in the tests.
