Then look up the AFL website it may help. Tells you the rules.

Personally i think Pd is going as if he was comfortable with Adelaide and all presented to him we wouldnt be going through this BS. Im more interested in the deal we can get. The AFC are so friggen tight lipped about this, they are making it so obvious that they are going to play hard ball on negotiating the compensation or force him into the PSD if he doesnt stay, without an fair trade.
There will be no trade. He is a FA is he not?

Good, so whats a fair deal, Im of the opinion he's going to Geelong as no one is that stupid to put themselves through all this BS if they werent leaving? And its hard not to think the way the AFC have been acting they arent going to push for a trade by threatening to match any offer from whoever.

Nothing .The whole purpose of this is too make Geelong a better side .

We need him for nothing and will get him for nothing .

If motlop goes than we use him for something extra .If we trade our number 1 pick , its for something extra .

Think what you want the way the AFC are acting since Fagan has taken over from the useless Trigg, and with Roo there aswell he plays it soo hard, I am more than confident these two will not let him walk for unders! It will be interesting how the trade scenario plays out!

They will be the first club ever to do so if they did .They than risk a player backlash ,risk backlash from the extremely powerful players association and risk losing him for nothing .

Clubs just don't operate they way you are suggesting , when a player wants to leave a club ,the club generally lets them go.

The first club in the three years since RFA was introduced yaeh I reckon Roo and Fagan would be quite comfortable in that. These two guys play it hard and tough and this will be no different, the way they are acting this whole year has suggested to every club supporter, these guys will not take a backward step.

The ALFPA set the rules so no backlash or they would have set different rules and not agreed to these!

Just because some lunatic says he has inside knowledge means nothing. PD will be the only one who decides and lets be honest if any club wants him whether it be Collingwood, Adelaide , Richmond or Geelong they will find salary cap room so no one will outbid anyone in this situation. PD will say where he wants to play then it will be up to the clubs to work it out on hjow to get him there.
Id say he's a fairly well respected lunatic with a decent history based on the comments on your board - esp the PD thread… all 800 pages of it…

The Dangerfield thread has no decent history or confirmed rumours we know asbolutely nothing from January 1 this year. Please tell me some usefull info that has come out of it apart from speculation. But PD is looking similar to Buddy and Ablett and this stage, like I said what nutcase would put themselves through all the media crap if they were intending on signing anyway.

Acting is the right word.
It is an act to make you (crow supporters) puff out your chests about how strong the club is being by not allowing a RFA to leave without a fight.
Then they will tell you all that they tried to work out a trade with Geelong but as they considered the compo to be as good as they could get, and to help a young player get home, that they decided not to match the offer.

Danger then comes to Geelong as a FA. Crows get first round pick and you all sook about it.

Not worried about that, Roo has shown to the AFC supporters how he operates and from all reports Fagan is the same, uncompromising is a best to describe Roo. Very Very confident Roo will be his usual defiant self, if PD decides to leave which I think he will!

Won't change the fact that it's likely the best they would get is the compo.
Luckily for their club they aren't spiteful like some fans who demand they MUST somehow "take" something from Geelong even if it is lesser than what they would have received.

You dont know Roo too well do you? He will want more than a compo pick.

If you were dealing with last years AFC we would have probably copped that, so be thankful you may get Hnderson cheap, Trigg lives there now.

A. Danger is coming to Geelong as a RFA

- everyone can behave like a puff fish, but at the end of the day there is no chance that Adelaide want to end up at mediation on this one.
- the headlines would be very anti crows, and the afl will not allow it in an era when the code looks like shite in the media

If he was staying there would be at least an indication. He decided before the season started. And the death of a coach he knew for a period of 6 months will not alter his life path. He also dislikes Campo, and the last 3 months will be testy.

The rest of this thread is circle word.

PS. Saunders told the Adelaide faithfull the announcement was this week. Well where is it. Or was the announcement that Rita was leaving Sen for Tom Elliott. Marty hope the flu gets better and you get a job.

Marty can you please stop arguing with every poster on this thread, we cant post boo on the self protected Crows thread, as you are too sensitive.

Rules are rules, but the afl abides by no rules as its not a democracy

you forfeited a game yet got 2 points - hmm that was not in the rules

AFL does as it pleases, wake up and smell the roses.

I havent written anything that isnt a possible outcome, and reading the Adelaide media all the time you start to get a sense that both Roo and Fagan are hard nosed businessman and with Roo he has a lot of mongrel in him and hates to lose, so to say Im confident that he will play it hard is an understatement.

PS do you have a problem with social media especially on anonymous websites?

Oh yes sorry I forgot you and I follow a corrupt league that can do as they please so realistically we are all watching something that can be manipulated and changed at someones will. You are kidding me arent you? Who would be interested in the sport if that was the case, unless you were a total dimwit. Which I am hoping I am not.
