Don't really get the logic behind waiting two weeks to announce it if he's been signed. It may be true, but I don't see what it accomplishes. Surely if they'd signed Danger, they'd want to make it public as soon as possible in order to end the rampant speculation. The sideshow would be over, and both clubs could move on. I guess if he signed right around the time of Phil Walsh's death, I could understand keeping it under wraps for a little while, but you'd think enough time had passed by now and this would be the type of news to pick the supporters up after that tragedy. Arbitrarily choosing to keep it hidden for weeks seems to serve little purpose.
If we signed Motlop, I wouldn't want them to wait two weeks before announcing it. That's two more weeks of media figures droning on about it, which nobody involved enjoys.
I'm still leaning towards him staying at the Crows, but these rumours about done deals and delayed announcements are worthy of quite a bit of skepticism.
