Unfortunately I think the Phil Walsh tragedy will be the tipping point for Danger, and I reckon he'll stay with the crows. How bad would you feel if you simply walked out on a club just months after their head coach was unexpectedly murdered in the middle of the night. I know this scenario isn't that simple, but it would be hard for a man like Danger to walk away from his beloved club when it's people need him most. He would probably feel awful if he just left, and in a sense some would get the feeling that he is "running away from the crisis" and that he's abandoning his mates when they are grieving.
They call this Emotional Blackmail.

It's interesting to see how their thread has changed from yesterday, I have avoided it for the most part but a very different mood it seems from 24 hours ago.

Also turning into how we would turn on Danger if Kel, SJ and Boris are gone for him...

They clearly never read our board... many posters have been calling for SJ and Kel to go all year!

Blicavs, caddy, Duncan
Bartel, Clark, Menzel
Lang, Hawkins, SJ
Stanley, j Selwood, Dangerfield

This whole idea that the tragic passing of phil walsh is going to make dangerfield stay at adelaide is very unlikely.

Phil walshes death was a horrible tragedy.dangerfield leaving adelaide is just a football story.lets not link the two.

He can still keep in touch with people at the adelaide football club while playing at geelong.

People are clutching
Every move he makes is scrutinised
He is add on control, and this decision was made months ago

Initially he claimed it was based on infield success
Now it's based on family

He is coming home to be with his and her family

The crowbots are even making Anthony rocca references
The tide of change is sweeping them up

Is there any chance at all that Dangerfield would publicly announce committing to Geelong before the season is out? Can't think of a time that it's happened but would be a refreshing change.

Agree rationally signs are pointing towards Geelong, but I can't shake that feeling he might re sign with Adelaide unfortunately. History would say when he hasn't resigned/given any indication of resigning that his gone, but history doesn't really mean anything to the individual. Always a first time
AFL rules state a player can't inform anyone he is planning on playing for another team publicly
