Seriously
Piss off, you are a troll. You come on here for banter and then slag off on the insular skirt thread.

I am in agreeable that you should head off to centrelink

Sorry I was asking Catsmaninamerica from his source that if that trade that he quoted for PD was fair, I didnt suggest the trade, your abusing the wrong poster.

Guys can we be civil to any opposition supporters who do comment in the thread. Treat their posts on merit and don't lump everyone in with what is being said on other boards. To disparage posters with comments like "oh well on your board they said such and such we will tar you with the same brush" makes us look like we can't handle view points that don't match our own. If everyone agreed on everything there would be no need for Bigfooty let's treat posters on what they say here and not judge them on what others have said.

Obviously you think Danger is the same level as Gary......ludicrous
No, definately not - But if Danger goes as a FA, we'd get what, a pick after our first round pick?

Hypothetically say Crows finish 8th (that's where they're sitting now) we'd get pick 12 for Danger - Doesn't seem right.....

Worst thing is the incentive the Crows would have to tank if Danger tells them he's leaving......

Mate I trust my sources as all the info I have received has been on the money
The defamation on the crows board gives me a laugh, I won't do anything I regret, as I will be an active poster in 7 weeks.

As I have said

Costa's boy is coming home
I understand most of that, but my point was that we both know how this will end so there's really no need to read their board.

What should I have done Mahlepi re-written history to suggest that you didn't state unequivocally that Wil Schofield was signed sealed a delivered?
As I said treat each poster on what they have posted

Stressed that it was just his thoughts based on conversations he'd had, not breaking a story or anything (duh, it's what most of us have known all year!). Also said that since FA only one example of a player who had been unsigned this long and then recommitted to the club, Travis Cloke.

So to sum up, he reckons no change from the start of the year.
Who, in addition, was in discussions with his club, not putting talks off entirely weighing up a decision to go home. Was simply haggling over contract details ie. $$$ & years.

Forget that you support geelong and step back abd look at the facts.

PD would know that they're a finals chance. And that all this conjecture traditionally hasn't been good for a sides fighting it out for a finals spot. He's also be more than aware that given the tragedy they've lived through , him resigning would be a massive boost to a group of people he loves.

And honestly does anyone really believe he hasn't thought about this decision? Sorry but he's known for 2 years this was coming. And the Crows have been trying to extend his contract for the best part of 2 years. Those that know paddy will tell you he's a VERY switched on kid, just like his dad john. They're savvy men. He knows exactly what he's doing.

The reality is that he legally can not come out and say anything except -

1. I'm staying
Or
2 I haven't decided anything else gets him de registered as an afl player.

Finally. For those wondering about a hawthorn or pies swoop.

His family are super tight. Mum works for frank costa. Anyone who thinks he wants to drive from Waverley to Moggs regularly is dreaming. That takes almost as long as flying Adelaide to Avalon and driving to Moggs.

Add in the people who actually know the family who are coming out saying " he's coming home"

I promise you guys - it's a done deal.

On other list changes I'm "informed on"

Motlop is gone.
S Selwood is a done deal - and if they can get danger as aFA as opposed to a trade - then Henderson will come. The only fear is if we have to tease it'll take motlop and a first rounder .
Thanks for sharing.

But do you mind elaborating on this.

In particular:

- Why is he 'gone'? what has made him leave?

- If it's money, is it because of our salary cap squeeze with danger + scooter pushing him out? Or are we say offering 500 and he's been offered say, 600? - if the former, I'd be extremely disappointed if we are getting average players like scooter at the expense of guns like Motlop. If it's the latter, why on earth would he move for such a small jump?? I could imagine gun players moving for say, 400k rises but not $100, and if it was $100, the GFC would surely up their offer to something in the middle if it's affordale to make the difference trivial. It just doesn't make sense.

- Why wouldn't Geelong fight hard to keep him? He is a GUN

- Would Geelong demand he choose a range of clubs so we can get the best deal, or would we be 'accommodating'?

- What would be looking for in a trade? I've heard he is linked to Richmond. But Richmond will have probably pick 14 - 16, which is surely not enough. Motlop is worth a single digit pick. We cannot afford to lose one of our best young players, who can become a top 20 player in the AFL, in the age bracket we severely lack for a late first round speculative pick.

So they can do this.

Mate did you read the garbage of your insular board
The remarks and personal attacks that I can't respond to

I am also taking great delight in the flogs who spend days abusing me, waiting for the announcement to be wrong wrong wrong
But we have to do this?

Really hope Cats supporters don't troll them if he does end up here.

Exactly right. Ran out very differently, correct me if I'm wrong but the perceived vibe at the time was he'd probably stay I think.
