i think the problem is we are still a real quality midfeilder down.. myers should be quality eventually, and someone like riemers, houli, lonergan could step up to be an elite midfeilder, but imo it takes 3 elite midfeilders to win a premiership

judd,kerr,cousins
voss,black,power etc

and i dont think we are going to get the chance to draft a player of rich's quality ever in the next 5 years. we just wont finish that low.

in contrast defenders traditionally fall in drafts due to various reasons and i just think that a player of around hurleys quality could be found with a lower pick.

i love hurley and he was my origanal favourite for pick 5 but i just think with rich slipping we will never get that chance again
