Official Delistings are :

Adam Richardson
Ricky O'Loughlin
James Byrne
Stuart Bown

One more than predicted... but i'm happy with those they've listed apart from James Byrne....I didn't see anything wrong with him.

Anyone else's thoughts?

I can't say I'm disappointed with any of the delistings, I think we've made some good decisions (however obvious they were) that will help the list.

Bown was the only player out of the 4 that I didn't expect to be given the flick. I thought he was worth another go, but the others seemed like no brainers to me, though I reckon a few may think Byrne's a bit unlucky. :)

The Crows hierachy got it right. As I (& many others) have said on "the axe" thread, Richo & Ricky were musts to delist.

Bown just hasn't come on as hoped & I don't reckon he has the mental capacity to crack it AFL level - I think his SANFL finals appearances were the final nail in the cofin of his AFL career.

As I have said before, whilst Byrne seems to try hard, he just doesn't get the ball enough or use it well. Quite simply he is was not up to AFL standard & we have many better midfielders.

There are a few players on notice to pull their finger out this year, including Smith, Shir, Doughty, Marsh, Bode & Kenny.

I am happy the Crows are persisting with Beinke, as I reckon his experience could be handy up forward with Jarman, Robran & Vardy missing. Whilst he is not overally tall, he is a strong mark & good kick for goal.

I'd have to agree with you there.

Not sure what's going on with Bienke, he's out of contract at the end of the year, and nothing's been said about re-signing him.

The Crows have until the 31st of October to make any more delistings. so is it possible they will say ta ta to a couple more players?

Why Richo, with Jarman gone I thought he was the anwser to your forward troubles. Well that what I was hearing about him at the start of last year anyway.;) :)

haha - the new star forward of the AFL. I remember when he kicked 8 goals in a crows internal trial match - and all these supporters and the media were going nuts!!! Pity he didnt get 8 kicks when the real stuff started

Well I certainly wasnt one of em.
I was hopeful he might slot into the tempo but after the Freo and Richmond game he proved to me he was too slow etc etc

And to hear him say on TV the other night he gave it his best shot was laughable!!

Byrnes delisting surprised me a little though, I thought he show a bit a composure in a few game times that he had in the midfield:confused:
