Travis Gasper being delisted might be worth looking at..despite several chances with the Eagles, he's found it hard to break into their senior side. Might be worthwhile for the club to look at another tall backman/utility...

Dont you just love it. We have done deals on Cloke. We have peoples mates having meetings with our recruiting staff and they are telling them our plans

He didn't tell him all our plans though, just that we were going to develop Ryder as a forward.

I haven't been online for a week so I thought I'd better post something so that people won't think I have passed away. Not that anyone on an anonomous website would notice or care....
I really don't have many more thoughts on our drafting, well nothing new to write after having been thinking and commenting about this draft since May. Just waiting for November 25 to come along. It is like the days before Christmas, I am very excited about the day approching! 23 sleeps to go! If only I had one of those chocolate calenders where you eat a chocolate every day in the lead up to Christmas.
Anway my biggest concern is that with all the excitement draft day brings I may forget to vote. Not that my vote matters much since I am in safe Labour seat by a whopping 20%. I'm going to vote Liberal in an attemp to make the seat a marginal one. Then at the next election both parties can throw money my way... But it will never happen. Actually I lie, I will vote for Lachlan Hansen. My senate vote will be interesting. I will vote below the line where you have to fill out 50 odd boxes. I will probably end up entering the top 50 draft picks.
Any I should also let you all know that I was chating with a mate who had a meeting with a guy who's sister knows James Packer. Apparently James is going to employ Bee Dee to break all the latest scoops for Channel 9.*

why pick up Jason Cloke? Why not use it on a kid not picked up in the ND? You guys aren't challanging for a flag in the next few years I wouldn't have thought, and even if you are, Jason Cloke aint gonna get you there. Much better off getting a kid, like Porplyzia or Matt Thomas last year IMO.
No way should either Cloke be considered. Cameron is overated and Jason played his best footy when he was standing on the last line of defence by himself, he is unable to play man on man footy.
Better off looking to draft players who can become top line footballers rather than average players.

The strange thing about Jason Cloke is that he and Danny Jacobs are basically the exact same player yet one is held in high regard while the other is pretty much maligned.

He's a bit better kick and less courageous but apart from that they are one and the same.
