Gumbleton could definately be the one, if he has the strength and mobility of a J.Brown it would be hard to pass up.

Doesn't have to play every game but if C.Johns gets injured again other teams may have to match up on Lucas, Lloyd and Gumbleton as well as worrying about Fletch and Michael.

Tell you what it feels like Christmas Eve at the moment! The anticipation is massive!

I just can't wait until tomorrow morning to find out what great presents we are going to get!!!! :D :D :D

It will be tough falling alseep tonight - better have a few beers!

Gumbleton is bigger and has a motor that is just as big as hansens. He will make defenders collapse with exaustion when he realises his potential in a few years. He also has the ability to split packs open, he's a much more physical footballer than hansen and that is a rare commodity in modern football. When he fills out he will hurt some blokes.

Forwards win you games and any athletic mug can play CHB, well that is how i think anyway.

You're basing your preference on what? Hansen has all the credentials that you've just mentioned. Regardless of how they played their footy as youths, the competition will certainly sort out who will and who wont make it.
To suggest Hansen isnt a 'physical' footballer is ridiculous. He plays at both ends, takes grabs at will and has had a great upon many games, particularly the second half of the season.

Any athletic mug can play CHB you think?? Bradley and Henneman couldnt and they certainly have size, height and ability. Reckless comment.

Hansen, Gumbleton...we're all splitting hairs. To suggest one is better than the other just doesnt add up IMO.

Henneman runs on train tracks(shocking lateral movement) and keps lacks balance and explosiveness.

Jon Hay was an all australian defender, super athlete with no great feel for the game.

You can put a great athlete at CHB and he'll do a job for you. Put an out and out athlete at CHF and he gets lost.

Man I had a dream last night that Essendon got Gumbleton with 2 and Sellwood slipped to 18 and we got him too. I had a chuby. :)

Teams with a superb defence win you games. Great forwards finish off the work accomplished further upfield. We were the highest scoring team outside the 8 (pts FOR column) yet our inability to stop scoring against lost us games.
No point having an outstanding forward line if the ball is turned over....
In regards to KB, I recall a game where he tore the opposition apart, twisting and ducking out of trouble further up the ground. Appeared to have balance from where I was standing.
