Re: Official GVFL thread

Heard Lobb has finished up with Rochy and not coming back for the remaining few games. Also heard that Eddy from the 2nd's is not coming back either (as he came with Lobb).

Re: Official GVFL thread

I have the inside scoop and its a bit like the transformers, more to meets the eye, Ben Tremellans hand is 100% healed and he is right to play, so that causes you to ask the question why isnt he being played and what is going on at Euroa ???????????
Prett simple why he isnt being played. His hand is not 100%, also has not been sighted at training, until he actually starts training he is not going to play again this year. Pretty simple skillz, but for a simple minded person like youself, its pretty hard to understand.

Would like to know who your inside scoop is, as they are feeding you utter crap and you go with it. Learn facts before posting again please.

Interesting reading on the Adelaide Crows board. Rhys Archard has quit the Crows.
Archard returns home

Adelaide rookie Rhys Archard today advised the club that he wished to terminate his agreement and return to Echuca.

Crows football operations general manager John Reid said Rhys, who has battled hamstring injuries throughout the season, was quite candid by stating that he decided the AFL was not for him.

The Club has advised the AFL and accepted his resignation.

It is understood Rhys has advised his SANFL club of his return to Echuca.

Archard was rookie-listed by the Crows last December after winning South Adelaide's best-and-fairest award.

- Massive get for Echuca. I assume that he would be cleared to play with them.

Why would a bloke not want to take a chance at AFL level, given he obviously loves footy and can play???
On face value, I find that hard to cop! Has to be more to it...

Dont know which club you might play for skillz, Im tipping none. But if you dont train, you dont get a game at Euroa. Pretty simple team rule.

Even if he was around, I would still be able to get a game.

Seems to be a couple of different stories coming out of Euroa in regards to Tremellen. Im thinking therse more to the story too. At the possition Euroa is in surely a player like him would make a big difference.

Yes he would make a massive difference and a player that really need, but its pretty simple. If you dont train, you dont play. Unlike at Mooroopna last year.

you guys need all the help you can get at the moment, even if he isnt training im sure there would be a spot for him,

Gleeson should have called it quits when he threatened to.

Euroa is a lost cause

Can he return to Echuca just like that? Hasn't the transfer deadline closed on June 30th? Would certainly make a big difference to Echuca's p'ship hopes but I don't think he should be allowed to return at this stage of the season.

Re: Official GVFL thread

Heard a whisper that Mellington has told the Bears he won't be coaching them next year.

Wonder if anyone can confirm this and also if there are likely to be any other coaching changes next year?
Mellington to Barooga

Cooper will probably take the money from benalla again and run (but they might be happy with that)

Gleeson to carry out the threat he made earlier in the year

And it might be time to go for Tom T Hall and RM Williams

And the boy at United could have done better surely - they may look for a non playing coach

i can see you reasoning with all the above possible departures for the senior coaches but im unsure as to how the united coach could have done better, havent they only lost 2 games? you would think with any team thats a good effort ........

your thoughts?

Peter White signed on at the Swans for 2008. I hear they are very happy with his approach.
