Where would he be heading then morphous?
Mooroopna have definately gained the services of Russell Lee(wingman), Craig Whelan(forward) and Marcus Dean(tall foward or ruck) from Heidelberg. they must have a bit of money to spend next year.
Just read on another website forum in regards to Rhys Archard which was surprise. I thought he was definately at Echuca. Might just be more forum bullsh*t..

He would get the Sac from his job and loose all his mates if he left the swanies. I know Loobs quiet well and this is the first i have heard of him going to Mooroopna. Melb is on the cards though.

Doubt the Swans would clear him to another GVFL club full stop. Keep in mind there was a fair bit of crap involved with getting him to the Swans (appeals, fines and loss of premiership points) let alone the rumoured payments and employment that came as part of the deal.
Could believe that he may go elsewhere (eg: VFL or SANFL etc), but could not see the league supporting a clearance to another GV club if the Swans kept rejecting a clearance.

He'd be turning 25 in Jan.
If you nominate for the National Draft, you stay nominated for 3 years if not selected.

Tim looby wouldnt be a chance at mooroopna, only place he would be going if he left swans would be back to adelaide as his old club in the sanfl port adelaide have been in talks with him!!

What are peoples thoughts on Rhys Archard playing for North Adelaide in 2008, instead of Echuca FC. It was a massive signing for Echuca, but Archard recently decided to scrap heading back home to Echuca and to continue to play in SA.

Will probably have another sook while in Adelaide and walk out on them half way through the year similar to last year when he it did with South Adelaide and Adelaide Crows.

Is Looby upto his old tricks by signing and talking to every club in the land before deciding on where he wants to play. Just hope he doesnt cost a club premiership points and percentage again like he did to Swans this year. But then again the Swans could try and forge a signature preventing him from leaving the club like they did with Bullen.

Three quality premiership players from one of the strongest clubs in metro Melbourne won't have come cheap. Maybe Karl Norman's move back to Wang Rovers has freed up some $$$.

Dont get to carried away Mooroopna , Russell Lee is a good player not a champion, his disposal is a little all over the place at times. Craig Whelan not bad either but not in the same league as Saad or Grainger , who also played at the Bullants.

That's what everyone thought, but North Adelaide coach Andrew Jarman and a couple of North Adelaide officials were in Echuca mid last week to meet with the Echuca Football Club committee. Jarman and Archard himself said that he would be in a Roosters jumper in 2008.
