Had to find somewhere to express how gruesome that was.

Hope he can make a full recovery.

Not an NBA man by any means, but I know he's meant to be one of the best prospects in ages.

Gee whiz...

Realistically, we're a fringe playoff team now, especially losing Lance. It's just so devastating, but he's still young and reading other forums, he might be able to come back from it in a year's time. Who knows if he'll ever be the same player though.

Hill and Roy really need to stand up now and maybe they be more aggressive/assertive, which would be a good thing for the team.

Also, the Pacers have to give their first pick next year to the Suns for the Scola trade. Is that right?

Nah, you already paid that debt this year - they took Bogdan Bogdanovic with your pick. You're in the clear.

Plumlee and G. Green would probably be handy right now though.

Cheers mate. Plumlee has certainly developed well and Green has been handy for the Suns, although he was bad for us.

Will be very interesting to see what direction Bird takes the team this year.

You might get an injured player allowance, which from memory could work out to something like the MLE - $5 mil or so.

Of course there's not too much left out there in free agency to spend it on, but it's something.

If Hibbert wanted to be a focal point for the team, he's got his wish now. True bell-weather test to see if he can be the man, or just destined to be a very expensive defensive specialist.

Is it just me or does that stanchion look awfully close to the court.. Like isn't this almost disturbingly similar to how Nerlens Noel did his ACL before being drafted? Either way such a freak accident, never want to see that happen to any player...

Miles too close hopefully this is the last time it can happen. Farcical stuff for such expensive professional athletes.

Surgery successful. Hopefully doesn't swell too badly and need to be re opened leading to compartment syndrome. Still hard to see him playing again for at least 2 years.

Similar to the x ray after I broke my right arm when 11. Not much fun.

An inch closer than regulation

NBA really needs to empty the baseline, especially photographers

Devastating injury

Really shattered by PG injury. He is one of my favourite players. Just a class act! Hope he makes a quick and speedy recovery.

You have to wonder if Indy are jinxed?! Seriously, when they had a good team, they had to go through Jordan and the Bull. They then rebuild and just as they are getting there, the Brawl in Palace takes place setting them back a few years. Then they uncover a great young player in Granger only to lose him to knee injuries.

They rebuild again and snap a superstar in a draft in mid lottery and just as they are on the verge of being great again, they lose their franchise player to a freaky injury!

You've got to feel for than franchise!
