It was a penalty and you didn't deserve anything out of the game but pretty unlucky with those two clearances.

Thankfully for us neutrals;

we didn't have to watch another painful Ronaldo 'look at me' celebration

and

Darren Fletcher didn't score the equaliser and think he was good or something.

____ off it wasnt a penalty! It that was a penalty so was the foul on Giggs 2 mins later.
what foul?

he completely missed him. :D :D

jumping to the ground looking for a 'square up' (in their mind) doesn't constitute a penalty.

particularly when there's no contact.

well, anyway. that's my interpretation of the rules.

yours is different. good luck with that.

Don't be ridiculous. Terry barely touched Carrick, Carrick's momentum just took him forward.
I'm not sure whether it was barely or not at all.

either way, it wasn't close to a penalty.

just unlucky in the end Manchester United were that two certain goals were somewhat luckily cleared off the line.

and playing with 10 men was tough as well. (does Giggs even count these days?)

no offence intended but Giggs is gone. he's just offering nothing. if he plays on and expects to play then he's selfish. being picked on past performances isn't fair to the others. (park, tevez etc.)

and how bad was Nani today? worst game I've seen him play. and that's not to say he hasn't been bad in other games but today he was terrible. looked out of his depth and like Kieran Richardson.

I am ____ing gutted.

If we don't win our next two games, we don't deserve the title anyway.

And I hope Fergie starts Anderson against Barca and signs a ____ing striker in the summer.

West Ham, Tony Pulis hat
:D

Thing is, they should look to Ferguson first, not playing your best team in a game in which you could finish off the title race is criminal IMO.
What perplexed me even more is he played a clearly unfit Rooney still. ____ed if i know what he was doing. Tevez should of started.

You know where gonna grab a win against yous. Its destiny ;)

Very annoyed at the display, were outplayed and it was probably a fair result in the end, Nani was absolutely rubbish and again Giggs was hardly noticeable either.

We better take it up to Barca or we are in trouble.

Biggest game of the year....

So we change the formation, rest our best player, bring Silvestre in for Evra for no apparent reason, start Fletcher and Nani inexplicably, Wes Brown ahead of Hargraves on the right (although this came in handy when Drogba decided to knee Vidic in the face...prick.), and then change Anderson for O'Shea.

Yeah, we deserved to lose that, shit ref decisions or not.

Ferguson wasn't interested in winning the game. Was happy to get a point and have key players fresh for the Barcelona game. I'm more unhappy with the results we got against Blackburn and Middlesborough. Should've won one of them at least and we never would've gotten down to this situation.

There is no argument to that Chelsea deserved to win (mainly thanks to SAF stupid selection), but there was this period in the second half where we were on top and I have no clue why Anderson of all people was taken off.

injured I believe.

at the end of the day; if Wigan hadn't of drawn with Chelsea you would've been forced to play your best XI from the start and who knows?

that result has really helped you rest up your guys.

and to be honest, if you can't beat a depleted West Ham side at Old Trafford then you really don't deserve the title.

you only have one game to win remember. steve bruce's 'tactics' await on the last day.

Whether it was a penalty or not is not the question.

Its when Sir Alex has the balls to believe this team is as ready as he says it is in the press, and whether we become a real attacking team able to apply pressure onto the best, or we are big talking wankers who won't play their best players agaisnt the best.

I've found a new found respect for Arsenal, Wenger gets that team to play their way, no matter the opponent, and their players are confident in their skills and the tactics of their boss in order to execute it.

We deserved nothing, we've played like shit for a month, and its not the player's fault, its Sir Alex's inepitude to believe this side can rip any team to shreds on their day.

He'll learn from this though, watch the United we've seen since August till March over the next 2 weeks.

The way you guys are attacking SAF makes me think of the Arsenal thread continually attacking Wenger... There's 2 very winnable games to come in the EPL and we have a great chance to beat Barca. To quick to jump all over the boss I think.

Sure selection was questionable, but we have a squad for a reason and our first half display was very poor but I believe that after we scored the equaliser we looked like the team that was going to nick it not Chelsea. We were a tad unlucky with the penalty and the 2 goal line clearances but thats football.

Back your team you mob of whingers and leave the sulking to Arsenal fans

I am backing the players, but you have to be blind to beleive he's managed this team properly over the last week.

Rooney at virtually rightback on Wednesday was unforgivable.

And Tevez is also a big game player, I'd like him to start, but he's also effective on the bench ,I don't see at 1-1 why we shouldn't go for it playing like we have all year, rather than being cautious which isn't part of the culture of MUFC.

That's what hits me most, why must we play like this considering the club's mentality for so long is to attack?

Im not saying I disagree, but Fergie gets it right more often than he gets its wrong. If we nicked it on Saturday then we would be saying what a genius agian!

I just hope many of the people bagging him remember the fact that he put our club back into the lime light. I hope they remember the years pre 1992 when we were happy to finish in the top 6 and snag a cup along the way.

We have been spoilt!

Some either have short memories or have become supporters since the start of the EPL.
