Yep dominated 2 games and got 2 points to show for it, little dissapointing, boys will wanna pick themselves up for this weekend.

It's not over by any means which I have heard from several people (not on here), we've shown we can go on 10 match winning streaks, it's a long season

Of course, still early days, however the signs aren't great.

No Rooney for a month, Ronaldo to miss the next couple and we seem incapable of the killer pass in the last third, I'm not much of a fan of this 4-4-1-1 we are playing, we started the year so well last season playing with two up top (Saha and Rooney IIRC) and I reckon we need to go back to it.

'that killer pass in the last third' screams out for Anderson. It's his specialty.

When's he due back?

It certainly fills you with confidence when you have Super O'Shea to come off the bench to replace Giggs.

And I think Ronaldo will miss 3 games. I'm shitting myself for the Ciddy game now.

Anderson will have to get a spot on the bench at least. I don't think he's still injured but just lacking fitness.

Sounds like you guys have got the "Arsenal Disease" from last season. Dominate most matches you play, but in the end, can't convert, and come out with draws.

Frustrating, hey?

didn't he score 1 or 2 goals in a couple of months?
that's more than anyone else has...

actually henrik's playing in dublin tonight. at the club I support's home ground in point of fact (drogheda's doesn't meet UEFA requirements... if ours does, drogheda's sure must be a kip.) if he's having a pre-match pint in doyle's I'll have a word in his shell-like.

We really have turned into Arsenal of last season at the moment, would someone just bloody shoot FFS!
we ARE shooting. loads of attempts on goal, they're just not going in.

I actually laughed at that ferguson bit Korn posted above. just wasn't our day. the amount of times we have nicked games like that though, I really don't think we can complain.

well after three matches where we battered the opposition and didn't win, a decidedly below par performance and we do get the points. it's a funny old game, brian.

nani's goal was an effing screamer though. more of the same please.

interesting to see eagles get a run out and yet still no sign of anderson. what's all that about? I must say though, I think eagles looks a much-improved player now, not so much a headless chicken and actually thinking about where he's moving to. still don't think he's united class, but hope he can prove me wrong.

oh yeah, and FC won 6-0 on the weekend! :D

Bloody lucky to win that game but after the start we have had I will take it. Superb goal by Nani, what a gun he is. Amazingly Berbatov couldn't score, it looked as though Spurs might steal the lead at one stage. Pretty damn crucial 3 points.

You could see the relief on Nani's face when he kicked that, has had way too much pressure on him since the move and Ronaldo getting the ban.

Answered it all in the best way possible.
Was absolutely rapt for the lad. He didn't have the best of game but the goal will definitely be a huuuuuge confidence booster.
