OFFICIAL: Mark Williams to Essendon for Pick 16

Channel 10 News today said that Essendon approached Mark Williams to give him 3 years contract for there pick 16?

Good or Bad?

Just reported on 10 news. Also mentioned they have pick 16 [from Saints]
Could we get it to ontrade to Port with pick 9?

Sold. Much as I love Willo, if he's being offered 3 years, excellent for him.

I'd then be telling port, it's Pick #9 by itself or pick 16 with one of the fringe players. If they don't want either of those deals, we get two first round picks. Suits me just fine.

Not really IMO.... As above I reckon we make them sweat hard. Keep offering 9 and a fringe player and use 16 to net us a good ruckman.

Pick 16 and Kennedy -> Swans
Pick 9 and McGlynn -> Port Adelaide
Burgoyne -> Hawthorn
Jolly -> Hawthorn

That actually looks really fair. But would they fit in our cap? Pick 16 might be a tad under, but they rate Kennedy and are clearly after him.

I think it might only happen in a 3 way deal. Essendon wouldn't give up 16 for Willo

Port give:
pick 24, Burgoyne

Get: pick 9 + 16

Haw give:
Willow + pick 9

Get: Burgoyne

Ess give:
Pick 16

Get: Willow + pick 24

Something like that? I hope im wrong maybe change Ports 2nd rounder to 3rd rounder?
