Nominate how many cars and buses have parked on Max Basheer Reserve. Closest guess gets one year's free parking.

My own calculations are based on an estimate that there's room for 2,500 cars. There are also a large number of buses from interstate or places like Murray Bridge on match days.

There are 22 rounds of the regular season, plus finals, plus SANFL games, plus concerts and there've even been cricket matches....Football Park was built about thirty years ago.

So I'm going for Three Million Five Hundred Thousand vehicles.

How is this new?
Anyone who is associated with footy in Adelaide know that the Crows train there, and that it is also a carpark. What the hell is wrong with that?

I believe the reason that Port dont train "on the car park" is they charge $5 / hour for Parking, and after last years whooping $6,000 profit... they could only afford to train have the squad there.

Well to a Port supporter its important, they spend all their time looking for any type of information that they can try and use against Adelaide. I guess it gives them something to put in their dole diaries.

Yes, but we have to minus the ones stolen when Port play - quite a significant amount...:D

And one years free parking? Thats no incentive for me...I have free parking a 3 min walk from the ground anyway. :thumbsu:

Not only is it a car park and the cows training ground it is also where I run my dogs off the leash, so do many other residents, so I guess that the carpark is also a dog toilet, maybe that's how Roo got his parvo virus?

No he got his parvo when he drove through Alberton.

And are you saying you dont collect your dogs crap? Whats your name I am going to report you.

Finally, we all know there is only one toilet worth talking about. Youll find Williams, the players and the training staff occupying it.

Good fishing for Cows tonight Toots. Well done, but you're nearly over the bag limit for whinging, sulking juveniles!

Didn't realise so many Cows supporters were allowed to stay up this late!

Keep the fishing up toots, you're getting plenty of bites!

don't ya just love the culture down at the shed!
Whereas I just love the ripoff culture down at Alberton.

Want to celebrate the GF victory with Port in 04 you have to pay

Want to go to the club's family day, you have to pay.

Is there anymore money that you can rip off your supporters ???:D

The crows hired out wayville showgrounds in 97 and 98, thats not using their own facilities and charged nothing for everyone to go even the non members, but down Port way they use their ground which costs them nothing, but they still charged their members ($5??? I think), but to them anything the club can make a quick buck from their supporters is a good idea for them.

Do you have to pay to watch them train ??

I cant believe that Port continually charge their supporters for everything

They charged them, because they knew it wasn't their money, it was the governments or from the house down the street they robbed the night before

:p
