Most warriors fans are pretty good

in my exp the geniune Warriors fans are really nice

some of the kiwis that don't know anything about the warriors and come and jump on the bandwagon when they play can be annoying tho

Will the Storm fans cross the line and go Warriors, like the kids at the school i worked at?

They would all turn when they'd come to town...families and all.

Also did a quick look at flights. Not looking good :(

Tickets as well.

$1500 for cat D ticket...guess i won't be going :)

huh?

I booked back in July, when the GF tix went on sale. Looks like flights are at least 3x the price now...

Yeah its very annoying. I can't drive up this year so will have to fly up Sunday. Looking like I might have to pay $300 one way... although im keeping my eye on a couple of cheaper flights (that depart very early however) that im hoping to snap up after the game tonight if all goes well.

And im not risking Tiger. :o

Ebay :) Should have bough early i guess. Could have made a mint myself .

oh well

For the GF?

There are cheaper ones on ebay.. because there are so many (mainly Dragon supporters) although members of each team are going to get 7,500 tickets released on Monday so its all good.

Mates are members, i'm not, so i guess i should be a member next year :)

I was actually quite shocked at how many people are talking about tonight's game at work today. Plenty of interest around which is good.

Wore my Storm kit to work on Friday. Got told to take that shit off...was called many uncouth names and verbally assaulted. That was just my workmates. The customers were brutal

excited

did i see a manly fan (2 weeks ago) join in with the warriors haka in sydney?
yes i did. was prob going for the warriors too.

where is/was the outrage? its akin to italians/croats/whoever following their ancestors teams during the soccer world cup (as well as australia). usually there's calls of deportation.

I'm surprised there's much of a scalpers market for these tickets. They took two months to sell out, and were fairly reasonably priced ($65-$150). Plenty going on sale on Monday for members anyway.

Disappointing loss to end the season.

Very proud of the boys performances this season, made the fans proud.

To get that far under the circumstances is a great achievement in its own right, one not likely to be seen again.

Go Storm 2012.

Go Warriors next weekend.

Anyone else feel like the Brookvale brawl was the turning point this year? Can't help but think it's like there was a different team out there after that. Loss to Manly, loss to Roosters, dodgy win against Knights then loss yesterday. Not to take anything off the Warriors, they played exceptionally but it seemed like the Storm were tired, a lot of missed opportunities especially in the second half.

Anyway here's to 2012.

Got tha feeling a little yeah. But, hard to really say it too, the Warriors just played too well.

To be truthful, the Storm have been ordinary since they escaped from jail against Parra. Has been a lakclustre last six weeks or so.
Yep - I think that is true. It was what made me a little nervous about last nights games form didn't look that great. But at the same times, I didn't want to take away from teh Warriors last night either.

Edit:
I think thats perhaps is why most storm supporters here are a little disapointed - no doubt we were well outplayed, but we didn't seem to be playing out best towards the end of the season.

Peaked too early. And they were just rubbish last night. They just kept running at the defence like idiots, instead of passing to a teammate in a better position. You know that when I, a part-time NRL fan, is saying the same thing as the commentators, that the Storm are in trouble.

Alot of home games early, whilst it set the tone for the season - Fid the heavy travel schedule in the back end impact?

A newish forward pack, which if you go as far back as the off season many of us Storm fans and non alike was a concern...

You combine the two, add in Blair's suspension and this probably explains seasons finish. When a hungry Warriors dominated the field position and Mrlbourne were struggling to get out of their half, it nullified Smith, Cronk,Slater.
