Thats the point though - his rebounding is decidedly average, but its not worst of all time. Thankfully we have tried to surround him with guys who board extremely well. Davis is the key here, he is the perfect compliment to Bargs. Great help defender for when Jose gets beaten off the dribble, and actually contests at the rim.

I really enjoy watching this team play. I called it at the start of the season and got ragged on, but this team only wins when it gives 110% and it makes for great viewing as a lifelong fan. :thumbsu:

hope the raps can reward you one day

Cheers mate. Not overly confident we will ever amount to anything, but if ever happens it will be so much sweeter.

Zach Randolph moment?

The defense Julian Wright (no.14) plays in this sequence nicely sums up a lot of players in the NBA.

Gets completely lost on the PnR, then doesn't get into a defensive stance so Rondo owns him, and then prances out at half pace to Pierce at the 3 to show token effort.

EFA

A lot of players in the NBA are just waiting to get back on offense when their team doesn't have the ball.

A lot of players in the NBA are just waiting to get back on offense when their team doesn't have the ball.

The point is Julian Wright was never one of them. In New Orleans he was like a deer calf running all over the place on defense - he was awkward, but he had mad hustle.

Ultimately, team defensive philosophy is often more important than individual defensive ability. Take the Bulls for example; there's absolutely no question that they had much better individual defensive talent in 08-09 than this season. Yet that season they were significantly worse defensively than this season under Thibs.

All I'm saying is that the Raps' defensive philosophy is (or at least has been) a bit of a shambles, and was nicely encapsulated by that clip.

Three questions i put to you all.

1) When will Blake Griffin's double double streak end? (21 atm)
2) How many all star games for his career?
3) Will he win an MVP and if so how many?

why isnt new thread sticky? yellow card to mods.

How come no ones talking about the Truths dunk today? Shit is nasty.
