Interestingly his numbers have regressed since he put in a very good sophomore season, when he was putting up 16/7 on much better percentages.

"very good" is stretching it, PER of 13.9 which is below league average, on pretty mediocre shooting no's for a 3/4.

That said, I think he'll be handy as a bench player as he's got toughness, he can play a couple positions etc...but if Ainge & co. are expecting him to be part of the future core with Rondo, I reckon the Celts are in for a world of pain.

Only 21 forwards have bettered that production (16/7/2) in a sophomore season in the 3pt era, and there are some quality names in that list. I'd say very good is a fair assessment.

Otherwise I agree with you, you don't look likely to win a title with Green as your 3rd option.

what is it doing?

Dunno about Forthwrite's, but my "Best Available" stream fluctuates between 400 and 3200 in the same game, snaps out of full screen into some weird 1/3 screen, occasionally goes into Smurf Mode (everything goes blue) and I'm sure there's something I'm missing.

Was brilliant probably up until the middle of Jan, now it's just shitting me. I know others have reported similar problems.

I haven't had smurf ball yet but the quality does fluctuate, it's ok for the Bulls game at the moment. Glad I didn't sign up for the Playoffs now as I would hate to pay extra cash if the quality is still going to be average.

Salmons just sunk a three so it is back to a 6 pt game now.

I'm getting 28 (16+/7+/2+), and each of them has a better PER than Green, most significantly so.

If you look at it another way, let's take all Sophomore forwards to play >36mpg in 3pt era. There are 36 of those. Green is 32nd/36 in scoring, 27th/36 in rebounding and 26th/36 in assists and 34th/36 in PER (ahead of only Al Thornton and Sam Mitchell). Point is, if you play a lot, you'll put up some numbers. The numbers Jeffrey put up were pretty mediocre given his playing time.

According to Y-sports, Favours is back playing in Jersey. Someone renig on the trade?

Favors definitely played for the Jazz against the Pistons today. He's in one of the highlights on NBA.com.

The Pistons score 120 for the first time this season and win without Prince, Wallace, McGrady and Hamilton, yet every highlight on NBA.com is of the losing team

Furthermore...

Career PER

  • Nate Robinson - 15.3
  • Nenad Krstic - 13.5
  • Kendrick Perkins - 12.9
  • Jeff Green - 12.8
Seemingly Nate Robinson is the only player involved in that trade who could be deemed "average" in comparison to the rest of the league (a PER of 15 being "average"). The other three are below.

Is there any point continuing with the long list of Griffin superlatives?

"Soft"?

Lulz at Griffin getting pushed around by a 200lb point guard.
