Wishing I'd gotten on both Detroit (were paying something like $2.60) and Houston (were about $2.20 I think) for the win, as I intended to when looking at the attractive odds last night. Woke up late, so I didn't get to put the bets on in time

Detroit 2.65 or the win, and also the best part was they were payin 3.60 for the win by under 10 points, so went $15 each way

the sooner the knicks go Stoudemire centre, Randolph Pf, Chandler Sf, Douglas Sg, Felton PG.. the better.. sure they may give up some points but that Mozgov guy is hopeless. Randolph and Amare would be swatting shots everywhere... just look at Randolphs production when given 30 + mins at golden state.. guy's a machine...

edit: well maybe keep gallinari as starting and keep chandler off bench...

Strong post in punting thread.

Good on PHX, apparantly they hit over twenty 3's?

Lakers in a slump lulz

STAT after the match

I'm not use to losing, we need the sense of urgency like we actually lost 4 games" "Guys playing like they are used to losing"

Also a couple things i think were directed at the other guys

"I try to be a leader and tell guys but it seems they aren't listening"

Shit is going to hit the fan

Felton-Douglas-Mason-Walker-Rautins

Is there a team in the NBA with a worse back court?

I’ll take Duke’s guards over this bunch (Irving, Smith, Curry, Dawkins, Thornton).

Whats the go with Sac town right now? They have been seriously ordinary so far this year, plus apparently Jason Thompson is being shopped. What happened to that guy? He was looking like becoming a pretty good player a year or two back. Perfect time to buy while his price is low, I hope the Raps have a look. Listed at 6'11", would be a better starting C option than Evans or Amir.
What happened to JT?! Coach getting a woody for a scrub!

Westphal's substitution patterns are all over the place. He has lost the plot this year. You can't give him depth because scrubs like Darnell Jackson and Luthar Head get game time ahead of players like Jason Thompson and Donte Greene.

See our bright coach gets such a hard on for Darnell Jackson that he has to give him time at PF and in the process he decides that 6'11 Thompson is really a back up PF!

One thing that we had going into this season was size. We had Dalembert (6'11), Cousins (6'11), Thompson (6'11), Whiteside (7'0), Landry (6'8) and Jackson (6'9) as the players for the PF/C positions. Now any other coach would look at Dalembert, Cousins, Thompson and Landry and say I have some serious depth there. Plus throw Whiteside in for spot minutes here and there to give him a taste of it while he develops and Jackson as an insurance of injuries happens. Our Einstein reckons JT as a back up SF is the go and find the shortest possible rotation at PF in Landry and Jackson....FFS

Not to mention that in the space of one game Donte Greene goes from our starting SF on the opening night, to spot minutes in game 2 to DNP-CD the rest of the season so far.

One of Westphal's biggest criticisms last year was the use of the bench and chopping and changing his rotations and starting 5 from game to game which led to players not knowing their roles and speaking out publicly....only Hawes copped a suspension while others got off with nothing...since then, his rotations, starting line up and roles were set. He is now back to his old habbits.

Head a designated shooter to spread the floow for Evans is shooting at less than 20% from the 3PT line and at times is being played at SF while a 6'11 Donte Greene sits in the doghouse for some unknown reason.

Something is really starting to stink in Sacramento....MUCH better team than the last 5 games show.

It only took 22 3 balls to beat the Lakers!!!!

J Rich must have been watching me use him on NBA Jam.

On a serious note, a great victory. The Phoenix schedule would have to be one of the hardest thus far. We have Denver coming up and then the lazy @Miami and @Orlando back to back. That will be 3 B2B's in the opening month.

The Suns are starting to get comfortable with each other. Nash dishing out 53 assists in his last 4 games. 13 and no TO's today. (obviously ex Mrs Nash was holding him back).

Although early days, it's quite obvious that yet again the West will be as tight as Robert Sarver.

Stiffy, what would you want in a trade for JT? I'd love him at PHX as we need some SIZE.

Also epic LULZ at Stoudemire, Amare.
