If they are able to keep Lopez and Sexy Dev, then wow.

Now if only we could do something like this. Sixers and the Raps getting left behind in the crazy Atlantic

Im not worried, Andrea will us to the promised land.

love the framework of the deal from the Nuggets side. Favors, Murphy who i wouldn't be against resigning at the end of the year like him as a player and 3 1sts. Then we also lose Harringtons contract and basically give ourselves a tonne of flexibility.

obviously we would all enjoy the deal for the nets, but its interesting to hear a nuggz fan support it also. i guess favors could be good, piss off murphy at seasons end and get a few 1st rounders.....could be gold coast-esque in a few years!

but for the nets, imagine this lineup

C: Lopez (the good one)
PF: Harrington
SF: Melo
SG: Sasha
PG: Harris/Farmar

although thin bench is thin, it does look ok yeah?

A bench like this looks OK considering the youth of their squad (Harrington and Ross would be the only players over 28 if the deal goes through), plus what they could get with two incoming First Rounders:

C - Johan Petro
PF - Kris Humphries
SF - Travis Outlaw
SG - Anthony Morrow
PG - Jordan Farmar
SF - Stephen Graham
SG - Quinton Ross
-----------------------
SF - Damion Jones
PG - Ben Uzoh

the mavs roll into lando today. the scoreboard at this stage reads:

magic post trade - 0/1
jizzards post trade - 1/1

yes i realise the jizzards didnt play with ****** lewis, but ya know :D

the bucks go to staples to take on the tired lakers. wish we could get the bucks commentary feed.

youth is good. but what's their PER?

Need to see what the other players involved in the trade are supposed to be.

For this scenario, hoping Devin ends up here :D

Would also have.

Would also allow cage match between Haywood & Etan Thomas for minutes.

it wont happen. They would lose Harris as well so you have Lopez and Melo and Harrington and then makeshift players u will need to get from other teams and then you still have to wait for 3 years before the new stadium is built in Brooklyn so ur playing infront of shit crowds in Jersey? Please

Listened this morning to the guy who broke the story and he reckons it wont get done but they are working hard to get it done.
Melo aint going to Jersey unless its all about the money.

Which it is.

Guess article not done by ESPN-NY cant be true.

Dallas v Dwight atm

Dallas are smoking though. 4-6 from 3

If they are moving Devin, they will pick up some other quality talent, because it doesn't look like he will be involved in the Melo deal. I reckon they should be looking to keep him, but I guess a pass first point would work better with Melo and Lopez.

Just hope Sexy Devin lands somewhere guud.

article by ESPN NY is totally irrelevant. There is no reason whatsover Melo would go to NJ unless he wants his contract ext before all the shit with the owners goes down. That is the only reason he would go to New Jersey.
New Jersey have nothing to offer him apart for money, the stadium wont be ready for 3 more years and the roster blows balls.

So in other words, he has about 40 million reasons to go to NJ? That's potentially the gap between the current max deal and the new one.

Not to mention Avery's system is much better suited to Melo than 'Antoni's. He could just get out the Dirk playbook from the Dallas years and run most of the same stuff.

like i said, if its about the contract extension and Denver wont sign it and then trade him to New York then he could end up in New Jersey but i dont think it will come down to that. Denver want Favours and they want the draft picks and you can understand why. They will go the rebuild route. At the end of the day though its all about what Melo wants to do, its totally in his court. Does he want the ext that bad that he would go to Jersey or can he hold out and go to MSG where he wants to be?

Melo will excel in D'Antoni's system as well so i dont think thats a major issue. Melo aint a great defender and he will enjoy playing in that offence.

Just like Amare, Melo is best when he's getting a lot of elbow isos and post-ups. If you're running that stuff for Amare, you can't also be running it for Melo and vice-versa. He'll still be a good player obviously, but probably only about 80% of what he is now. Sort of like Bosh in Toronto vs. Miami

you would be able a bit though, when Amare sits and vice versa the other player can take that all one. Thats a major issue for us right now. When Amare sits we go into our shells. You get another star there and it wont be the case

i see what ur saying though

Mayo knocks down 27 and is benched the next game. Running a good ship down at Memphis

On Oklahoma, anyone else noticed the lack of points in the paint Jeff Green is getting. This years hes also taking alot less shots and is playing less of a role in the offense. Hes a important cog in that side because he does take the pressure of Durant when hes going and allows some more open shots for him. Westbrook and co need to stop being so Durant sighted and get Green involved as much as he was last year

Yeah, his drop from 15.1 ppg to 17.3 ppg has really hurt the Thunder.

wait, wut?
