Danny Ainge controls the media just like Luke Beveridge controls the umpires.

Well let's see

The same guy who consistently trots out the 'offers' Ainge has made just happens to tweet that after a trade goes down

Again

Once is a scoop
Twice is a coincidence
This many times?

I don't doubt that the twitter media in the NBA are often wrong. It's still a long bow to draw that on the first day of free agency a GM is stuffing about telling reporters what to tweet.

You could just be miffed that the bulls took the wrong deal for butler too.

George was never our #1 target.

Funny how PG is all of a sudden some huge difference maker when he couldn't get the Pacers higher than the 7th seed in the weakest conference.

Yet if he comes to us he's taking us past a Cavs team that killed us.
The same guy who went to 7 and 6 games vs the Lebron/Wade/Bosh Heat when he actually had some decent talent around him?

The dude is really good and become underappreciated here because dumb dumb Larry Bird traded out George Hill and put a bunch of crabs around him.

I could be miffed because there was no real offer for butler

The fact that garpax are useless doesn't come into it

It's the same thing again and again and again and again

He really elevates his game in the playoffs

Ah yep, you've decided, based on your own opinion, and personal bias (for some unknown reason), that no offer was made.

Who's heresay to believe.......

Seems productive.

I'm still of the opinion that Paul George is a better player than Jimmy Butler.

OKC make out like bandits, but I suspect that package is operating under the assumption that he probably won't sign a deal with OKC.

He's not that player anymore.

Since the injury, doesn't play at the same level. I don't consider Miles Turner a crab, think he's pretty damn good.

It was said they wanted our Brooklyn pick, Our pick from Philly, and two starting players.

You don't give that up for a rental.
Yet Indy gave him up for 2 scrubs and no picks.... perhaps Ainge is just talking shit

Yeah back before he broke his leg.

Also had a better supporting cast.

Okc do make out like bandits, at the very least they get out from the dipo contact.

That said, they still have kanter and Roberson will walk now.

If Russ and George walk, plus the wolves hold this years first rounder things will go downhill very quickly in okc

Something he'd have again in Boston, a good coach and guys around him who actually know how to ball.
The goal is to beat Golden State.

A year ago I reckon Ainge would have offered more. Durant changed it all.

It's not worth gambling away high draft picks on anymore because you simply need very good players and an MVP level guy to beat the Warriors.
