Which is the best commentary track on the DVD?

1. Ten - Hudson & Lane calling with Walls and Voss comments

2. MMM - BT and Brayshaw calling with Frawley, Lyons and Dunstall chipping in

3. 3AW - Rex Hunt and Clinton Grybas calling with Tony Shaw and Dennis Pagan

4. K-Rock - Mithen and Darren Berry calling with Turner and Bews comments

5. 5AA - KG Cunningham, Chris Dittmar, with Josh Francou and Campbell Ross

Voted for MMM - cos i love hearing compliments about that Cats from recently retired ex-players that I really respect, and I respect Frawley, Lyon and Dunstall as champions of the game. (No disrespect to David King, Pagan and Tony Shaw on 3AW). 5AA is amateur hour and biased, and K-Rock is obviously too biased, I prefer neutrals talking up the Cats...

Channel 10 has Robert Walls....enough said.

Apparently the Victory Pack GF edition has just the ch10 commentary
Dammit. That's what I've been hanging out for. Got the channel 10 DVD on the Monday after the GF and have been hanging out since then. Oh well, guess you can't have too many copies.

If Rex hadn't of been over the top (as usual) and yelling into the microphone, I would have voted for 3AW as I thought the rest of their commentators were very good. Voted for MMM.

There are some classics on the 5AA commentary:-
"Who's on Steve Johnson!, Who's on Steve Johnson!, Who's on Steve Johnson!" ....as Stevie kicks his 2nd goal.

"ohhhhh he's shanked it!" As N.Ablett slots his 3rd goal through the middle.

I love this bit:

"KG: They're kicking themselves out of this game, the Cats. (Remember they were almost 8 goals ahead at this stage.)

Campbell: Crows '98 KG.

KG: Exactly right Campbell."

PURE COMEDY GOLD!!!

Lol, love that Steve Johnson bit, there was no "good play by the Cats", it was shouting out "Who's on Steve Johnson, who's on Steve Johnson!!!"

I'd almost go as far to say that the 5AA coverage is the best because it is the most entertaining

at half time they are saying: "They're not out of it yet! They can do this! etc etc"
Half time! After Tredrea scrambled that goal at the 18 minute mark of the third to be 'only' 64 points down, they were still saying Port could come back. 10 minutes later and they concede that Port will get a record of a different sort.

Very entertaining to listen to.

Has anyone got MP3 versions of the ABC or NIRS broadcasts?
that would be great! Swan McKay can get a bit annoying on ABC, but I do like Stan Alves opinions and Parkin if he is on. Not that keen on Schwabs mild contributions. Gerard is gold though

NIRS is a classic, especially if Gilbert McAdam is on air.

Unfortunately for NIRS sometimes they can get dud crews with Adelaide clowns like Popovich who they call "Poppy" and some guy called Undermans or whatever that they call "Undies". "Poppy" and "Undies" calling the football. How very Adelaide
