Having not taken into account the shorter games and correspondingly lower scores, I thought I was going pretty poorly. Then, when checking my league ladder last week, I noticed the overall competition positions. I'm coming ******* FOURTH! What the actual *? So that's all pretty bloody good. Then I make a couple of trades on Thursday to cover for Naismith's injury, head off to work an afternoon shift, get home, check the team lists, realise I need to do something about Brander and Noble not playing and @!*$@! - no reversing trades after the first game's commenced! Need big Max Gawn to score a double hundred to have any hope of maintaining overall position now. * you Murphy!
