Chapman - fit?

Heard a whisper that Chapman may miss (source highly unreliable). Can anyone who went to training or is closer to Catland than Ipswich Qld tell me if he trained ok and how he was moving about?

regards,

all reports are that training went smoother than a baby's arse.

any thought of a even a slight injury would've been mentioned

Re: Chapman - fit?

Nah, he trained well, did all the drills and stuff.

Addy says:

Geelong completed their final training session without problems today ahead of tomorrow night's AFL preliminary final against Collingwood at the MCG.
He looks fine in the pictures on aflphotos.com.au as well, but he is standing next to the club doctor in one of them.

Re: Chapman - fit?

I heard he has OP, day to day prospect. Noticed he struggled with a kick from distance vs the roos. Source is from a friend who has mates from his jnr footy club. So im not so sure.

Re: Chapman - fit?

I dont think it would be anything new for Chappy, but I do think he is struggling with something which he has had from pre-season, where he missed a lot of training. He did go off for some work against the Kangas as well, so it does sound like something along the lines of OP, an on-going thing.

Emergency surprises: No Steven King? And Prismall?
Maybe there is something to the Chapman rumour...........He would be a likely replacement............

It's not even 4:50pm yet?

Good to see we aren't changing a winning side which is right now our best 22 IMO.

Re: Chapman - fit?

Because they don't know what their guernsey numbers are. :D
when i 1st seen this i though WTF, and then i started thinking mabey it has somthing to do with the jumper clash, ie. pris is in kellys jumper so if you want the ball from pris you have to call him kel ? or gaz in charlies. not sure if it worked out that way because i could not here them over the kids there screaming, makes me think back to wosha's fun and games last year when the Coasters were on there way to the finals.

I've noticed that too, like Shannon (17) was wearing Owen's number (31) but I guess it doesn't really matter.
I just thought they'd wear their own number too.
Imagine if someone accidentally wore the wrong number in an actual game...

Nah, it's happened a lot of times, there's nothing in it, I think.

Probably to throw off any Magpie scouts who were watching on. Could just see it now....the scout walking into the Lexus Centre, knocking on Malthouse's door and telling him Gardiner trained the house down. :p
