Isn't Egan injured?
The only way licca is going to get back into form is IF WE PLAY HIM. Surely he wasn't bad enough to get dropped by Round 3. If he gets to Round 6 or 7, and is still playing terrible, by all means, drop him.

Richards, for the first time in ages, is fit. Give him some time to get his bearings.

Toovey and Dlck look like excitement machines. High hopes for these guys.

I 2nd that! Licca yes 2 below average games but we know he is better than that and he will only go to the 2s and rip it getting 30 plus possies. I say by rnd 5 if he is still in bad form he will be dropped. Richards yes needs some time to get his bearings again rnd 6 or 7 if not improving probs dropped, glad to see some kids playing.....but i have a feeling we will probably wont win...but im sure ill probs be eating that sentence after tomorrow night GO PIES!!

Thank god there are some people who actually make sense on this board. Yes Licca has had soe bad games, but by god, there has only been two games.
As Tarkyn_24 said, he must be played to get back into form!! You cannot go back into the VFL and expect that you are going to get AFL form. Give him a go, if he hasant improved by 6-7 then sure drop him... after 2 games it ia hardly worth dropping a bomb over surely!!

And also to add for someone who aske, yes he was dropped by MM for poor form last year for 2 weeks, I actually think he was out for a bit longer, but that was also due to injury if I am correct, it was due to his hip.

It's not about Licca finding form, I think he has lost speed, he cant do what he used to do... and his skills are not good enough to re-invent himself as a goal kicker... I think he's gone

I dont think he will tag anyone, R.Shaw will end up tagging Deledio, licca might tag anyone MM thinks is causing damage. But Deledio will need to be kept under wraps to stop your run out of half back if he goes their again.
 
Licca may not have the speed these days, but he still gives his all in and under the packs, and until we find someone else who puts into these areas as much as he does along with some of the other older players he will still earn his spot. They still all have something to give to the team, and until they dont I think they are still a valuable part of the team.
Im sure that MM will not be mucking around this year, if he feels they arent playing to standard, I think they will be gone, I have no doubt about that!!
