The problem is they mostly have the same type of panelists on.

Richard Hinds - yawn.

John Harms - ....'reminds of that amazing day watching the great G Ablett at Kardinia Park...'

Waleed (see Caroline Wilson) - blah, blah, self righteous pontificating, blah, blah

Roy Masters - 'Melbourne is s***. The NRL is watched by more people than AFL etc etc'
Well summarised.

Waleed Aly likes being contradictory.

(I actually thought it was one of the better episodes they’ve done recently).

It must suck for her watching your sport slowly die. She has the odd attack on other codes but she knows she has nothing.

Waleed Aly has things to say. Georgina Robinson makes a point of working in rugby union once or twice when it's unconnected.

I was looking forward to a discussion about the Stephenson case and how sporting leagues have to finely balance their taking of the gambling filthy lucre on one hand, and the integrity of the competition on the other. It was a pretty major story throughout the week after all. Offsiders, in their wisdom, decided that it didn't even warrant a mention.

Look, I get that the Perth episode would have been planned long in advance - but that was rank.

You need to be able to adjust following one of the biggest recent weeks in Australian sport and talk about those issues accordingly. Australia is balls-deep in two well-followed World Cups, the AFL is challenged by a gambling crisis, two Australian women were on the cusp of becoming world number ones in popular sports and two other sports are grappling with the ongoing Folau dispute. State of Origin only needed a couple of minutes' discussion off the top to honour the location - nothing more.

There's no point having a weekly sports analysis program if the finger isn't on the pulse.

Probably Rugby World Cup Final means they can't get away with a full episode on horse s**t. Guess we'll see.

10:15 the horse talk started and some Racing Victoria person has joined the panel so don't expect criticism

Yeah they've dialled it down a bit. Might be because Gerard Whately and his equinophilia aren't there anymore or because of the pressure on the cruelty s1ide of the sport.

one wonders why you watch it.

Watch it out of habit now and it's still just okay.

Sunday was worth it just for Haigh's "Racist grandpa" comment about Court. Then the netball coach tries to defend Court.
