See you in Round 6 Licuria!

Sorry to bring this up for the devastated Pies fans, but what he did was completely out of character, and downright dirty.

You refer to the kneeing incident on Aker? It did look bad.

However I must say the most poignant image of the whole day was Licuria crying on Mick's shoulder. Moving stuff.

Yeah you could see those boys were really hurting after the siren went.

It's the way of sport though, there has to be winners, and there has to be losers.

Elaborate... for those of us that missed the incident?

If Mark Bickley's suspension is anything to go by, you are right.

Another out of character incident that resulted in a long holiday.

Absolutely

It defines why it is so great to win one.

Images of losing players after a GF always rams that home.

Ball went out of bounds, Akermanis and Licuria were wrestling on the ground, and I think Aker was either on his back or his stomach on the ground with Licuria having his hands around his neck.

Then Licura just went in and kneed him dead set on the head.

Another thing against Licuria is that the AFL came out during the week and said they would be coming down very hard on suspensions during the Grand Final.

Probably not the exact scene, but still the picture tells the story.

Oh 4 - 6 was my opinion. Knowing the tribunal they will give him maybe a week. But he deserves 4 to 6.

Damn, there goes some easy money!

I'd doubt he'll get anything,in the context of the game it was soft!

(whats that saying.....put your money where you.....typing is lol)

Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke...
Even better if he gives another one to 'finger' Cornes.

Good on ya Licuria !

AFL did say that any wrongdoings in the GF will have the sentences doubled. No ifs buts or maybes.

Burns for striking Brown.at least 1 week, make that 2 weeks. Not accidental.

Wakelin for his elbow on Lynch. 2 to 3 weeks, make that 6 weeks.Deliberate, he could have just pushed. He took the wrong optin. Others have been suspended for the same actions.

Licurias knee to the head on Akermanis. That should be a 4 weeks all up. That was totally uncalled for. Just like Bickleys wrong option. A rage thing, I would say. No excuses though.

I wonder who will play them 1st up next year.

Licuria 2 weeks maybe. Could get off, could get more.

Wakelin did the same thing you see players do every week - take the mark and throw out the fist or elbow to get rid of the player holding onto him. Shouldn't be suspended.

I still cant believe the AFL has said this. Where did it come from?

If the AFL has said that it will come down doubly as hard for suspensions after a Grand Final, they are just proving how compromised the whole tribunal system is.

What is all this stiff emotion they are trying to apply now but last week when Cloke was up, they said, "no we have to be fair to everyone else."

WEll, guess what. Being harsher after a grand final is not fair at all!!!!
