Still hasn't presented his phone records to the FA to support his claim that his phone was turned off.

The Mirror has come out with a leak, saying he made several calls to friends betwen the time United left a message, and the time he called them back half an hour later. The Mirror also state that the first call he made 10 minutes after leaving Carrington was to a private doctor, who happens to be a urologist. *

In itself not overly drastic, but the two defences he created for himslef have now both been shot down.

First he said he forgot because he had his mind on moving house, yet was photographed shopping in Manchester, and met Eyal Berkovic for a coffee. Secondly he said his phone was switched off, if these reported claims form the Mirror are true he has been caught out again.

Just to top off the week for Ferdinand, several papers have reported that he has been screwing around on his girlfriend with an air hostess for the past three years.

* the urologist is currently treating him for his "kidney infection" but it sounds so much more dramatic when you leave out that info. ;)

He deserves a 2 year ban (minimum) but will probably only get 6 months the drug $%&$%^ ****er.
It's England's loss but Man United's gain.

If he gets suspended for 2 years ... now you think of it it could well be to Uniteds gain.

The Mirror are reporting that FA are preparing to charge him with wilfully missing the test, as they are sick of waiting for him to present the phone records. Could be an interesting few days, I suspect the lawyers are rubbing their hands together at the moment.
