Nnow having to losing to the best team for the last 3 and a bit years running they're all apparently hacks and no bodies!

Take a deep breath and think before you post? Dawes and Cloke wasn't their best night but I would like to see you take a mark when there is at least two opposition on you when you try.

We lost it at the selection table? well you can say that now!! I haven't even read that thread but I can already hear it. We should have played Fraser, that's funny because all I have been hearing all preseason and season that Fraser is only a back up now, we know longer have him in our best 22... hmmm.

We play them again in Round 19...

It has to be expected though. It was a massive build up and supporters have a right to feel let down considering the way the game panned out.

2 losses against the 2 two big teams that we knew we just had to beat @ the start of the season is a real concern. I just hope we fix them up when we meet again.

Not the least bit upset with Dawes & Cloke, they were beaten last night but they have been fantastic the last few weeks.

Kudos to Dids, Swan & Daisy. Think they can hold their heads up high.

agree personally I'm wrapped... well as wrapped as you can be after a loss media have jumped off, leon has been exposed and now we can go go back and re-asses where we went wrong.

I personally couldn't believe people prefer Wood over Fraser, and I was surprised he wasn't playing. Fraser is a good player, the only reason he is abit of disapointment is for a 1 draft pick, we expected more from him.

But for the very first time I was impressed with Wood cause he finally took a contested mark. Is there more to came? Is Wood a late developer? Lets all hope so.

Apart from Davis i dont think the effort was lacking last night, the boys had a real crack but played stupid football going forward.
What is annoying is when its not working against the great sides we dont change it up or at least try.
I dont have an issue with people critisizing after last night, when we win its a major love in on this site when we lose people will get upset thats the nature of it and not a massive deal IMO.

Season is no where near over, but we do have some genuine concerns that need to be dressed, and that is, standing up under finals like atmosphere. Our 2 tests so far this year have indicated we fail. Still plenty of time to work on this

Why does it surprise you - Same after every loss

We will be fine. The issue I had was that it was a cowardly performance where the boys couldn't adhere to the same structures as previously because they were too worried about the opposition. The structure fell to pieces and players looked lost. They need to toughen up. If we had a particularly old team out there I would be worried, but we don't and they will improve.

It was a kick in the nads that we needed to not fall asleep after smashing every team by 40+ points the last 5 weeks.

I'm still baffled how everything bad is malthouse's fault, not the players for making dumb decisions malthouse.

But I agree with everything you say Shellz, gutting loss but it's still round nine, worked harder abd in 3 months when it's more important we won't make the mistakes.

We are currently clear second best, not bad seeing as we ended last year barely 4th, long way to go before the wrist slashing is called for
