Just on everyone giving all the essendon fans shit for giving Hawkins the finger last night, our fans are hardly angels. A couple of weeks ago in the hawks game, I'm pretty sure there was a big close up of a carlton fan giving the finger to someone (I think it made it into the 7 plays in 7 days). While I hate essendon as much as anyone else, every supporter base has a few ferals in there.

Charming lot aren't they!

That d!ck in the front row really embodies Essendon* bravery, showing the bird to a bloke he knows can't do anything about it.

How brave would he be if big Tomahawk grabbed a handful of sash and dragged him over the fence for a little "chat" over some knuckle sandwiches?

They celebrated like no other and it makes highlight reels for them the night Hird felt up and hugged the fan after the goal. Hawkins does the same and they do this?? WTF!!

Essendope's recruitment of Chapman suggests they thought they were close to winning a premiership. They significantly over rated their list. They rely on the same handful of players to keep them competitive e.g. Goddard, Watson, Zaharakis &, like us, their list falls away quite quickly after you get beyond their best players.

All Chapman is doing is topping up his super & at the same time keeping a younger player out of the team (much like Fletcher).
Imagine the flak Gibbs would be copping if he was playing like Myers. Former pick six who doesn't get any heat. They're roughly the same age.

Tipped that Colyer would burn it running into goal. Doesn't steady and slow before he kicks. Squibbed it against AJ who told him that he had put in the shortsteps.
White was always going to Collingwood and Pods had a big inducement from Adelaide.

Staker? Just as well again.
We don't use two year contracts to entice veterans who are the wrong side of 30. A point that eludes those who fret about re-signing Carrazzo and Jamison.

Not mention Chapman only stated he chose Essebdon because he thought they were the best chance to win a flag.
