Not yet, anyways.,,

I certainly hope this goes away for the AFL's sake and assuming that probability dictates it would occur at more than just one club.

Nevertheless, McVeigh's interview was a complete waste of time.

"Disgruntled" Reimers vs. "Brainwashed" McVeigh - Big deal...

The biggest queries revolve around why consent was required for a completely legal substance and why an excessively sterile environment was required >> Injections occur at sporting grounds on an incredibly frequent basis - we are yet to see a player out with 'blood poisoning' or whatever it may be after getting a jab after rolling an ankle.
McVeigh trying to shoot the messenger, in much the same way as Dale Lewis was treated & more recently Brock McLean with his comments about tanking.

Reimers has nothing to gain out of ratting on his ex-team/teammates. No doubt he is upset at being delisted by the Bombers, but he wouldn't make such heavy allegations totally out of spite, knowing full well he is going to be interrogated by the relevant authorities due to making such allegations.

Not only that but the guy is just 24 years of age. If he had a GREAT season in a lower league - he's signed to play for Peel Thunder - he could easily have found himself being picked up by another AFL club maybe West Coast or Fremantle if he preferred to stay in WA. If he is found to have lied then he has absolutely no chance of being picked up by another AFL club (he'd be blacklisted) and the state leagues would also reconsider his position there. Further, Essendon Football Club would sue him for slander (no way they'd let him get away with it).

Plus losing any chance that another AFL club would look to pick him up if he has a good year in the WAFL.

Incredulous....

Jab Watson, welcomes the investigation :p
Watson was the Brownlow favourite before injuries struck in the 2011 season. I believe Watson did his hamstring twice to miss four and five weeks.

Bomber and Dean Robinson joined them after the 2010 season.

Weapon of mass destruction - high-performance guru Dean Robinson
"It's a contested game and bigger bodies handle contests, handle hits and handle collisions better," Robinson said.

"All you've got to do is look at NFL, league or union; the size of the bodies are bigger because they're bigger hitting games. Therefore, the energy cost coming out of the hits you take in AFL cause a large amount of fatigue.

"The least-fatigued side, at the end of the day and the end of the season, is going to win. Being fit and strong and having a body that can handle collisions is going to allow you to carry less fatigue and perform at a higher level.

IT'S all overseen by Robinson, who lived in Texas in the mid-1990s as a steer wrestler and rodeo clown and made it as far as the World Steer Wrestling Association titles in Oklahoma.

After studying at Texas Tech he returned home to take a position at the then-Sydney City Roosters, NSW Institute of Sport and Manly Sea Eagles before joining the Cats in late 2006.

Yep it all just doesn't sound right to me

1) Where are you getting $10,000 worth of Vitamins from ??? I am sure I could get them MUCH cheaper ;)
2) I have no problem with Vitamin injections, there is a limit of absorption when consumed in food/taken as tablets which injection bi-passes, but why all the secracy regarding the injections. I mean if it was ONLY vitamin injections then, surely, the injections would be monitored and recorded through patient records. If there is any doubt over what the injections were then it would surely be VERY easy to confirm.
3) If the waiver/consent form is so innocent the why hasn't it been made public? If it is a simple form, stating EXACTLY what is being administered, then it would answer a lot of the questions ........
4) Why has Dank been given the boot, and Robinson suspended, if there is nothing in it? If there is NOTHING in it then why isn't the AFLCA (or what ever union represents people in these positions) kicking up a giant fuss?
5) Why were the ASADA/WADA involved if nothing more than vitamins were given to the players?

I just don't think it is as innocent as bombers fans/MM claim it is.

Seven news reporting that police have seized documents and computers from the Club and Essendon officials have been turned away.

Federal Police and Australian Crime Commission involved as well.

Edit: Also Computer & documents seized from an ex employees home.

Is anyone else picturing (hoping) there was a frantic scramble to shred docs, erase hard-drives and burn things in 44-gallon drums?

LOL at the Essendon board, have a read of "The McVeigh Interview", they all think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread to come and say what he did, I think they honestly believe they will be fine now after hearing Spike talk on the radio.

So Spike says everyone knew what they were taking and that it was 100% legal, yet the coach and the board weren't aware of what they were taking? Bit contradictory don't ya think? Well either Spike is telling a 100% lie and will end up looking like an absolute knob or the communication between the coaches and club doctors is the worst in the AFL.

Flogs.
