You gotta stop paying attention to tabloid gossip...

Franklin was/is the most electrifying power forward of the past decade, he still does things for the Swans that make me stand up and go wow, I don't think we can dismiss his amazing footy prowess just because of things he may or may not have done in his personal life.

He may well be the last 100 goals in a season player we'll see for years and footy needs him back fit and firing on all cylinders, especially in the Sydney market which may be disenfranchised with the game after the disgraceful and indefensible treatment of Adam Goodes in his final season.
Sorry - strongly disagree DVB.

Buddy's best days are behind him and Goodes is a goose!!

I would like to ask you however, in your mind, does the fact that the police have not brought charges, lead you to believe that there is absolutely no wrong doing here? Nothing to see?
He apologised for something, so he must have screwed up somehow.

There's a difference between a lack of evidence and innocence. Based on no legal action, do you believe we draw a line and conclude Martin did nothing wrong, the woman in question is "telling stories" and that this is basically a storm in a tea cup? The reason I ask is because in my field of work, I find smoke and fire, in most cases, come as a package.
Martin did something wrong, but no, based on the statements from Vic Pol, I have no reason to believe he committed a crime. And I dont deal in rumours and innuendo or hanging people out to dry because of a generalisation.

I had no problem when the woman in question quietly went to the clubs. I have a bigger problem when she gives statements to a journalist, but not the police.

Right on both counts however the ridiculous conclusion drawn by Richmond supporters that because Martin wasn't charged means that no incident occurred & therefore everyone owes the poor petal an apology, is just crap.

The reality is that much of the aggression/intimidation directed at females by males is not a criminal offence, but still has long term effects on the victims.

No argument here. Seen too much of it in and out of my hotel.

I thought Martin had just watched Karate Kid before going to the restaurant and was actually talking to the flies he was trying to catch. Well thats what a Tigers supporter told me so it maybe not be totally true!

Deserves more than a single 'like'.

One would think Martin will get whacked at least 4 weeks and may end up being 6 to 8 weeks.
The AFL has to pounce on very poor player behavior especially its lucratively high profiled ones.
