Shame about the terrible call on the 'sliding in' that could almost have been called kicking in danger, but was really just a missed smother...Scott will probably point to that as the reason they lost now!!
He apparently wanted the roof shut....:p

GC are gonna beat a few more up there this year and will be extremely hard to beat up there once their young players reach 80 to 100 games for years to come.

I think the North boys should take up cricket, because playing a rainy winter sport clearly doesn't agree with them!

Really liking the look of GC, they're going to be a pretty formidable team in a couple of years.

Scott would get his wish with the roof shut at Etihad for a 20/20 game.....

They wouldn't be able to handle the rigors of test cricket though.;)

It's funny because Norf lost to Gold Coast but they had the chance to be the Gold Coast but they knocked back that chance and now their club is in crisis and their team is shit.

I've just done the ladder predictor for the first time this year. Without noticing the ladder, I have us finishing 7th, and we're playing Collingwood in the elimination final! There's no way I was picking them to win that, despite being two game clear of us. It was too much to press "Carlton" in the semi against Geelong though.

Other notes :

Hawthorn and Fremantle are in the GF. I'm not sure who to pick for that. After the final against Geelong last year, I have some confidence that Fremantle could win it this year.

Hawthorn and Geelong are in the prelim.

Gold coast ended up 8th!

GWS don't win a game.

Richmond..................................................9th!

We dropped a game we really should have won last night (as we have multiple times this season), but with the Roos losing to the Suns, and Adelaide losing by 12+ goals at home to Sydney, who's threatening to take our spot in the 8? West Coast? I don't know how, but I really hope we learn from this round and the other lapses we've had in the first half of the season.

I am going to avoid all footy programs this week because I don't want to have to listen to bias comments.

How does one get to know what goes behind close doors of a club.

Does anyone think that Walker might poll well at the Brownlow this year?

Anyone else see Sam Lane after last night's game talking about what that ******* 'Spike' McVeigh said on SEN Sat morning re his ASADA interview?

The gist is he came out of it extremely stressed becuase of all the info ASADA knew that he had no idea about...illegal things done by people no longer at the club (the Dankinator and the Weapon, I assume).

McVeigh said he truly believed at the time he wasn't doing anything wrong, but now....OOOOOPS....

Makes his attack on Reimers the day it all came out that much more ridiculous....can't ever remember any Carlton people swearing black and blue we didn't cheat; sure we drew the wagons in tight, but hey, any organisation would do that. Says a lot about their shitful excuse for a club.

North supporters not happy for having another three years with Brad Scott.
I don't know enough of the guy but it did seem odd that North were so eager to tie him up for another three years so early in the piece.
Was he likely to go somewhere?

We think that we're capable of losing a game we shouldn't, then how do North feel?
Talk about a box of chocolates.
