It's that-a-way to GWS lard-arse!

Mj has a contract. We know this.

What I'd like to know is which part of our Club's administration has the final call on renewals.

I've been trying to cross reference dates when he was given another contract and the timing of the first contact with lyon.

Did Harvey want him ? Did our Club want him ?. Does Lyon want him ?

No doubt he has trade value. The scary thing is if he goes somewhere else and hit his potential then our Club looks like idiots.

Re signing him was a necessity. Now it's up to Lyon to either trade him or make him work.

I hope we keep him and i hope reaches his potential.

Agree. We know the guy can play footy. Such a smart decision maker, he sets up play really well. The rest is between the ears. Lyon is supposed to be the master in this area so will make for interesting watching next year.

Be thankful it wasn't suze .:thumbsu:

Magnificent OP .:D

Suze??

Who is Suze??

Oh, Steve sadsack poorboy media hyped tart Harriss Suze...

The Brand Agency Suze...

I get it....

It's short for Ben Carbonaro if that clears things up.

Leave Ben out of this, he and the Vixens are gorgeously independent...

MJ, Duffield, Crowley, and especially that dufus JVB cann all go now as we have a new coach. Oh, and that complete everlasting pathetic spud Hinkley can just give up too...

Worth keeping only to see what Lyon can do with him. Quite a few players in that category.

No, Memories isn't worth keeping, even with his so-called girlfriends...

I'd be interested to see what he can do with Walters, if he can get in his head too, same boat - could be anything.

Agree. Think Walters can make a player of himself if we can find a role for him where his weaknesses can be hidden somewhat and he works extremely hard on fixing those weaknesses.

i dont think re-signing johnson was a necessity, i would have thought trading/delisting was a necessity. the guy is bludger who in 2 years time would have pulled off 8 years worth robbery.. he has had good year and done nothing else. i truly hope lyon trades the shit out of him.

do we know he can play? when was the last time he played 2 good games in a row? when was the last time he played a good game against decent opposition? if lyon gets this lazy underperforming waste of list space playing good consistent footy then i will agree that he is a master.

Is it even possible for us to trade him? I have some vague memory of players not being allowed to be traded in the first year of a contract?
