2. Go to the tipping tab
3. Log in under the finals tipping dialogue box - your normal registration details are fine to use.
4. Go to Your Group
5. Under Join a group type in:

Group Name: The Real Thing
Password: BIGFOOTY

Im there already and logged in this weeks tips. Ive had that much trouble logging in to that site i decided to get in early.

But remember people that do join that your real name (if you have it on public view at the AFL tipping comp) will show up alongside your nic. It doesnt worry me who knows my real name and im there but some may not want to reveal their names on show. Just a thought.

ps please dont laugh at my placing
(11,000th +) in the comp. As i said i couldnt get in half the time so gave up on it.

I just went to the AFL site and checked the group and so far there are 14 people in it and we have the 4th largest group. (The leading group has 66 people!!)

Come on all you others, sign up to be in the group. It will be far more interesting if there are a lot of people!!

PS. Yeah Arch, got that - sorry for the tardyness replywise. Basically, I've gotta fit about a million friends and relative commitments AND two games of footy (fingers x'd) into around 10 day so I'll be pretty stressed for spare time. That said I am definitely keen to catch up for a beer and ideally a kick of a footy with you folks sometime whilst home. We'll have to sort out times and dates closer to the time.

I entered and have already made a poor start. Ho-hum...just picking up where Round 22 left off, I guess.

Obviously I under-rated the Cats, as at the end of the minor round they managed to finish 5th, but they have now proven they were the worst side in the top 8. Why the heck did I tip them?

What a shithouse weekend!

St Kilda lost their second consecutive final today and are out of the VFL finals. And the fact that we led both matches in the final minute of play before succumbing to late goals makes it so hard to take. Particularly as many of us were looking towards our VFL side as going someway towards making up for a terrible season.

Anyway, a big thank you to the Richmond supporter at the tipping competition for not logging in their tips because you have kept me off the bottom.

Going into this round I thought Carlton were almost as bigger certainties as Essendon despite their injuries and if they had made the most of their opportunities earlier would have won easily.

However I feel more comfortable towards the bottom of the tipping ladder anyway. The unfamiliar surrounings of being higher on the ladder would probably cause me to suffer from vertigo

Started OK with 3 from 4, but was Oh so close to a clean sweep!

I changed from Melbourne by 10 to Carlton by 10 at literally 2.30am (WST) this morning! Should've trusted first insticts!

Max- what margin did you tip your boys by? 600+ is phenomenal...

BTW/ does everyones results say that Essendon won by (only!) 99 points? Doesn't make any difference to my score though. I thought 40 points was a daring prediction
