ok this is what i know about today

Right well all afternoon tied up elsewhere, thus i only heard about the game on the radio. (god Rex Hunt is a cracker) and this i what i learnt. We started off alright with Neita down back, and from i saw on the TV he was blitzing down there. Schwarta started on Carey and was doin ok, actually in the first term, he was beating Carey. We were up at quarter time, and the things slowly slowly started falling apart at the seams. so by 3 quarter time i think the game was in the bag for them (not us but them)

ok well i do have ONE question.


"WHY THE F#$K WAS NEITZ SHIFTED TO FULL FORWARD IN THE LAST QUARTER WHEN HE WAS DOING SO WELL DOWN BACK?"


i seriosuly dont know what is going to happen to this football club in the next couple of months. all we need now is some consistency and a bit of spark. we arent going to make the finals, and so all the players have to do now, is put up a bit of a fight, and see if we can end the finals campaigns of the other teams. (couple of surprise wins wouldnt go astray)

And lets see some of the young boys out on the field. give them a go, u never know what might hapen. (i mean surely they cant be doing as bad as what we have out there at the moment. )

Excuses, Excuses!

I am sick of the excuses. Demon Radio had Shane Woewodin on and the excuse from him and others were simple. Things like we didn't handle the ball well. What the f**k do they think has been wrong for the last 8 weeks. I want to hear what the coach has to say, but he is never on.
If someone is beating Carey why change his opponent. To let him kick 6 goals is pathetic. If it is true and Neitz was starring up back, KEEP HIM THERE!
From what I did hear Robbo and Green were on the bench a fair bit. Leave them on and leave Neitz up back.
Pitt is another option but it is obvious Daniher hates him.

The only positive today was that Collingwood lost!

Well i wrote heaps in the other post, but still i will repeat a few things:

firstly i agree that Neita should have stayed down back for the WHOLE match coz Carey kicked 5 of his 6 goals when Neita was up forward and doing nothing by the way.
secondly i was majorly pissed off with Robbo spending more than half the game on the bench and Neale giving Simmonds such a long run. Robbo and Greeny are not that tall but Robbo can mark and gees Greeny has great accuracy so what was he doing putting them on the bench?
Yze was on the bench for a while too... i mean WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?????? Who puts our best player on the bench? even if it is for a second?!
The game was lost in the match-ups, the players did ok and would have beaten them but Neita moving up forward and Robbo and Greeny spending time on the bench was what lost us the game. Lamby did ok and should have had a longer run, especially with Nicholson playing so bad.
I think that Walshy did ok for his first match, some of his tackles were excellent, and you could see how desperate he was to do well on his 50th match!
Over all the one thing that hurt the most was seeing Febey's face as he was carried of Oxy's and Neita's shoulders, his look said it all....

nikki, i TOTALLY agree with you! we were at the match, and while neita and schwarta were up back, things were going fine! then STUPIDLY they moved them up forward!!! what ****ing ******s!!!
all that i can think of is that it may have looked like carey wasn't playing well, so they didn't need any one amazing on him; but when i think about that, it makes no sence, and neita should have stayed back!!!
oh well, if they don't know where they are going wrong, then i guess we have no chance
