I agree he is no C.Lee or someone who can come in and potentially take the starting job off Roberson, but he is not absolutely horrible and his 3pt% is pretty good over his career. I read that we may be using him as a back-up PG at times although I don't know when. You would think this means the end to meaningful minutes for Morrow or (hopefully) Singler. But hey, we got him for Dj and Novak and a couple of crappy picks, and apparently we saved 9.8mill by trading Novak.

Crawfomination don't mind using him on 2K

Also this. Imagine the line-ups you could run with the thunder now. Westbrook, Foye, Morrow, KD, Ibaka. That 3pt shooting!!

Hearing OKC may fill the last spot on the roster with Kevin Martin if Timberwolves buyout.

If only we kept Jeremy Lamb......

Will never aslong as I follow this team understand why he was so underrated..

Oh please God please let this happen. We will actually have a shot in the playoffs if we acquire a shooting guard who can actually shoot and get to the free throw line regularly.

That will mean we will have Roberson, Morrow, Waiters, Foye and Martin if we do this move. I know Foye and waiters can handle the ball and be depth in case we have injuries at the pg position but damn that's a lot of similar players on the roster

For OKC to win the championship durant needs to get to the rim more

Watching today he played brilliant don't get me wrong but in big games in the finals he will need to get inside to create some easy shots for his team

They led by 14 in the second half and couldn't get it done on their home out and I can't see them beating golden state in 7

Blasphemy... but probably right.

After our current form since the all star break and the missed opportunities we had in signing new players it's really hard to feel optimistic about the Thunders championship aspirations. I really hope at the business end of the season we look like a completely different team but something tells me that might not be the case.

Does anyone think our 2 head assistant coaches being missing has contributed to our downfall in matches lately? Is Billy Donovan a little out of his depth

Defense.

I hope this is more gentle then the AFL boards!

You can forgive a bloke like Westbrook being late to a rotation carrying a huge load of the offense. However you have Singler/Waiters/Kanter/Morrow are not two way players, With Foye who's been on/off with his D and Payne who's a first year player, The team leaks on D. Most nights Durant/Ibaka (Dude is a stud, top 3 PF easily) and Westbrook will out-score most teams night in/out, Roberson needs to be more consistent with his 3 pointers, But in general his role is to cut hard and play D. Adams has improved and the PNR game at OKC has never been better

Just that recent times Durant/Westbrook haven;t been taking care of the ball, and the defense overall during the game is not good enough to allow that many turnovers. I know they are in full "We need ot keep these guys" mode, But Kanter should of been left

IMO. Should of let Kanter Walk, Saved up the pennies and gone hard for Horford/Howard. Tried turning Adams into a trade for Batum. But easier said then done

I also get what people were saying about Kds handles now. He is so loose with it especially dribbling up court.

I had faith that you'd see the light eventually.

It wasnt convincing, but we have ourselves a series now. Great turnaround from game 1, but can we keep it up for another 3 games at least? Home game advantage is gone now but we haven't been great at home and obviously Spurs can win anywhere.

If Adams and Ibaka play defend in the paint like they did again and Roberson can contain Leonard we are every chance of winning.
We just need a bit more ball movement on our Offense to generate some easy buckets, hopefully Kanter can get more involved in that end.

Will be a minimum 6 game series, hoping we can come out strong next game

Agreed. Although we do need to defend Aldridge, but he always tears us a new one, even when he was on the trailblazers. He has the ability to pull Ibaka away from the paint and into the midrange, leaving Adams/Kanter on their own in the middle.

Also, how good do we look passing the ball around, rather than Durant/Westbrook iso. If we can keep it up and get Morrow some open looks he could be lethal.

Passing the ball is VITAL for us, if we get stuck playing Iso ball we'll have no chance.

Really think Morrow and Waiters are underrated keys to this series, if Donovan can incorporate both of them and n the Offense a little bit more then we can spread the load a bit and relieve Durant and Westbrook of so much pressure. (Waiters should be strictly a 3&D guy, hate him dribbling the ball. He has been surprisingly good behind the arc though these playoffs)

What do we think will transpire in game 3?
