I think it may be a typo but the kangaroos hold that pick so do you think the swans and kangas would consider something like this:



Bentick 40 and Swans First rounder to Kangas
Harris and 9 to Swans
Okeefe to Carlton

Some of these trade scenario's are starting to get ridiculous. Thankfully, trade week officially kicks off tomorrow, and we only have a week to go with these outlandish rumours and inuendo.

At the end of the day, if the deal doesn't suit us, then we shouldn't proceed. Let Sydney, or Fremantle for that matter, come back to us on Friday when they go back to the original deal that was put on the table so they at least get something out of it.

Yeh O'Keefe would be good at the right price but surely we shouldn't be trading away promising youngsters just because some people at the club are impatient and think we're an O'Keefe away from a premiership. So...if the Kangaroos offered their third round pick and Andrew Swallow for pick 6 you'd be inclined to accept it?

Difference being, of course, is that Swallow is a promising young mid while it appears Bentick might have unfortunately run his race.

He's got no say in the matter. He nominates a price, every club then has a shot at him. The quality in the PSD runs very thin...I guarantee any club that can afford him will read his name in an instant, whether or not he wants to play for them.

If O'Keefe is serious about returning to Melbourne, then a trade will be negotiated. There's no way known he'll take his chances and enter the PSD, unless he doesn't mind playing for the Demons (and given he's after another premiership, I'm guessing he does).
