HBK619 Are you able to upload any of the games you have? I wen't back into the message about the Kevin Sheedy game and tried downloading the game again to see if I could get it to work, but the link doesn't work anymore.

I remember I used to play a footy simulator game called Footy Star. I recently downloaded it again on my computer, and it said had some MSVB... error. I have windows 7 BTW. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how do you fix it?
Are there any other good footy simulator games like this?
Please reply!

I'll give it a go some time this week.

Doesn't matter about it, I thought I had deleted every copy of the game I had, but I still had one on my mac from when I was trying to get it to work on Mac. I tried the game again, it comes up saying its not responding, probably doesn't work on Windows 7 64 bit, so I might try install the 32-bit version.

Williamc99 What version of Windows 7 did you have? 64-bit or 32-bit?

I've got it aswell, had it a long time ago, I still play it a bit, I have Windows 7 to and it does work, Ill pm you that missing file, it didn't come up the first time I used it, but the next time I installed it it came up, I can send you the missing file.

My version of Windows is 64 bit. I was in the middle of uploading the game yesterday but it stuffed up. I'll try it again soon.

Ok just pm me when you upload it however, Im not sure which one you should upload now, Try upload the disk image file if you can, that way I can install it and then mount the disk image because I remembered you said you need to mount it otherwise the game won't load,

I installed the one HBK uploaded for me and when I open it, it opens up then comes up saying its not responding (Tried on a computer and a laptop both with Windows 7 64-bit). Im not sure why, probably cause I didn't have the actaul disk or something because I made an iso of the game and tried mounting it and got the same issue.

If you have got the disk image file, upload that so I can try that first, if it doesn't work, you could try upload the installed version.

I have AFL 98 ripped but no idea where the best place to upload it is. Any suggestions? After RARing it, it ends up about 260MB.

Upload it to Mediafire or Rapidshare and then paste the link here or pm it to me because Im going to upload all the old AFL games I have along with the ones I have gotten from other people. They will probably be uploaded the OP of this thread.

Just if anyone wanted to know, the games im uploading later on are: AFL2004 (PC Version), AFL 2003, 05, 06, 07 (PS2 version, comes with an emulator), and perhaps AFL 98 and Kevin Sheedy AFL Coach 2002 if I can get them.

Tried installing it and says you need the cd.

Haven't downloaded the game yet but try downloading the demo and copy the demo's game executable to the actual game. May act as a crack. Of that doesn't work then try experiment and copy a few other of the demo files.

I was doing this for Kevin Sheedy AFL Coach and found out that when it installed the avi files didn't get copied over, when they weren't there it would come up saying not responding (Most likely because the movie file that was supposed to play was missing), then when I put those files in the game folder from the install folder, it just comes up saying I need a disc to play, tried mounting the iso I made but doesn't work,

Nice idea but unfortunately it didn't work. Game Jackal just kept trying to find the disc even though it was mounted already.

That's disappointing, I though we'd be on a winner. Maybe it's a form of copy protection, but that doesn't make sense given that half of it's other products are there to help with backups etc.

On my laptop the game comes up saying you need to insert the disc, but on my desktop, if I mount the .bin file then it still says insert cd, but if I mount the .cue file it loads the game however it comes up with an error, something got to do with my desktop because I get the same error with the demo version, however the demo version works on my laptop.

I'll try and crack it with my pretty amateur skills if you'd like, once I download it.

Good luck with that, if it works, you gotta help me crack Kevin Sheedy AFL Coach, I was going to learn how to crack, but couldn't be bothered.

Lol I have the working game mate. Just be patient. I've been super busy lately but I will upload it here for everybody.

Im patient, I'm just not sure if it will work just like AFL 98, it might work for you, but not for me, unless your game works without the actaul cd inside.

Just on old AFL games, does anyone remember a game from the mid-90s where you had a pool of players from the AFL Hall of Fame or some such, and two players took turns in picking teams which then played off in a game?

I used to play it with a friend on a school computer at lunch times, but the damn thing was so slow that we almost never got to the actual game...

Yes, I had this as well. You didnt actually play the game and it was just a simulation of the result. I have a feeling this may have been part of the AFL '96 multimedia disc which had all the player lists + great marks and goals.

Is that it?

I still liked AFL Finals Fever the best. Always found myself coming back to it.

No idea if the contents on that disc will work if you are using windows 7/8, should go and try and see if it works.
