The answer is right in front of you. If a player is required to wear club gear to training then they are likely to leave in said gear. A more fashionable type might take a change of gear with them if they plan to stop for a bite on the way home. The other type probably wouldn't give a **** and go to such effort.

The cafes around Napier St when I used to live there were full of Essendon players eating and drinking coffee after and between training sessions, always in club gear. Natalie Hutchins is 53 and said it happened when she was 15 or 16.. So prob just the Daniher brothers giving a little country hospitality to the young lass.
