I have been out of action for a few weeks as I had a fall getting out of my car that was parked on a slope and I was messing around with a umbrella...did a proper job on my right elbow and have had an elbow replacement...will be on the mend for a while yet.

My left hand is very much my non preferred.

It was raining and I was trying to get the brolly up as I was getting out of the car and good old gravity was trying to shut the car door on me...silly situation that I should never have got in to...thanks all for your kind words.

I tell you what...to be able to watch the start of this year's footy action on TV will make recovery somewhat easier to bear.

That's what my wife is doing after her hand surgery and it's driving me nuts.

Oh you poor thing .Elbows are so painful,I can remember when my mum had a fall and cracked a bone in hers .She was in absolute agony.
