I found out that Dean Lupson (1989-1990, 6 senior games)is still playing, i think that he is captain/coach of one of the Upper Murray Football League teams (I think it might be Bulllioh).

And Forward, Robert Bolzon (1987-1988, 5 senior games) is playing for Lalor in the Diamond Valley Football League division two.

I hope that interests you as to how our old players are going.

Dean Lupson was coach of Sunbury until 1999 and was a premiership coach for 3 or 4 years, in the Riddell League.
Bolzo has been at Lalor since he left Fitzroy as it is his original club.

I know, Bolzo got two crap decisions for him in front of goal that cost Panton Hill the chance of a huge upset win against Lalor this year (mongrels).

But, he was a gun when Lalor won those 4 flags in the nineties, and when those blokes left, he stayed on which a rare thing these days.

And Dean Lupson, I remember him playing i for Euroa in the G.V.F.L before he went to Sunbury, and he got rubbed out for 12 months for striking three players and pushing an umpire, he was a dickhead then and still is a dickhead.

Dean rang me in 1999 and wanted a reunion of players from the 1989 magoos side, got in touch with all the players involved including Ironmonger in the States and then it was left to the w***ers at Coburg just b4 I came to the UK, Deano was all fired up for it only to be let down by Coburg, couldn't organise a root in a brothel.

Also, eighties gun. Grant Lawrie has been coaching West Preston/Lakeside for a few years. They got done by Jason Heatley's, North Heidelburg yesterday.

Brett Cook plays for Darley in the Ballarat Football League, but is currently out with a degenerative knee injury. Sounds ugly. I think Jamie Elliott is his coach.

Lupson coached Sunbury to a few Premierships in the Ballarat League, but usually missed playing in them through suspension.

Apparently, there is a father-son combination in Lupson's team. There was some mention of it on the radio last year. Robert Walls mentioned something about Lupson, and the caller goes rattled off all this stuff he'd done to cop something like 10 suspensions in 2 or 3 years, and miss playing in a few GF's despite being the captain-coach of the club. Pretty funny stuff, really.

Olmy lives!

So, where ya been all this time (apart from bullfighting)? ;)

And Anthony Mellington, after nearly going to play for Coburg to follow his girlfriend, but after the Tigers took over, he pulled out.

He is still playing for Shepparton in the Goulburn Valley Football League and is killing them, winnning his clubs Best and Fairest (In a strong club that got all three premierships last year), highest vote getter for Shepparton for the league Best and Fairest, Inter League representitive, Victorian Country representitive, Best and Fairest in the Country Championships and Voted best country footballer by the Victorian Country Football League and the Weekly Times.

Its too bad that they don't have the Mid Season Draft anymore, because he deserves to get another shot at the A.F.L again.

Mellington's girlfriend plays for Coburg?

I didn't word that correctly, what I meant to say was that Anthony Mellington's girlfriend has moved back to Melbourne, and he was going to follow her and playy for Coburg, but he is still playing for Shepparton in the G.V.F.L

Just forget that I ever posted on this topic, my grammatical errors have made some great double entendres at my expense, but I'm glad you all had a good laugh.

If you didn't have a sense of humour you would have fplloweed a winning side, that is what made Fitzroy a good time and a sense of humour, just stand next to Kev at the footy, he wasn't called "The dill on the hill" 4 nothing.

Still trying to work out whether or not that's a compliment!

Yeah, those double entendres I had were as good as Pixie Anne Wheatley's (Magda Szubanski) on Fast Forward, but unlike her, Idid them by accident.

And I do have a sense of humour, I support Fitzroy and Panton Hill, humour is a pre-requisite to be a fan of these two teams.
