Kim John "Haggers" Hagdorn (born 8 April 1955 in Subiaco, Western Australia) is a former first-class cricketer and Australian sports journalist.

Hagdorn was selected as a right-arm medium-fast bowler and played the opening match for the West Australian first-class cricket side in the 1977/78 Sheffield Shield season. He only bowled 6 overs for no wickets and did not get to bat as Western Australia beat Tasmania by an innings and 14 runs.[1] He was replaced for the next match by Wayne Clark and was not selected again. Hagdorn's nickname during his cricket career was "Crumpet Face".

After his brief foray with the state cricket team, Hagdorn moved into the business of writing short fiction stories mainly in the sport genre and is currently the chief Australian rules football writer for The Sunday Times, the most expensive toilet paper band in Perth. He also appears on Triple M as a reporter for West Australian AFL games and is a regular contributor to 6PR's football coverage. He previously held a position as Communications Manager at the Western Australian Cricket Association.[2]

In 2007 he was awarded the Geoff Christian Media Award and the Jack Lee Best Fictional Story Award by the WA Football Media Guild. In 2008 he was again awarded the Jack Lee Award for Best Fictional Story by the WA Football Media Guild.

It was like that for three days. When I read it last night it indicated at the bottom of the page "last modified 3 days ago". Dudley is right 'old mate' monitors bigfooty and obviously settles down for a good read late at night.

He will be looking for revenge so expect some gold Freo rumour to come forth in coming days.

Oh shut. Going to be some pain coming bennel way. PS. If anyone else from 7 west media is reading. Please help us. A lot of us purple legends refuse to buy your newspapers because of haggers. Please remove him from your staff and I will gladly buy a subscription again. Don't abuse your monopoly thinking we don't have a choice because we do and I have made one.

You blokes are being too nasty. The story I've heard is that Sam Mitchell, that is evergreen draft steal Sam Mitchell and West Coast's newest Brownlow medalist, was just holidaying over in the west when he was told about a story on 6pr broken by one Kim Hagdorn that he was leaving Hawthorn and moving to West Coast.

Being the diligent champion that he is, Mitchell decided to investigate a little further into the substance of the journalist in question, as although his reputation precedes him in WA, little is known about Kim Hadgorn in the football media saturated market over on the eastern seaboard. What Mitchell discovered was a man of the purest credentials and unquestionable integrity that he decided the very next morning to ring up Trevor Nisbett and beg for a spot on the West Coast list for the 2017 season.

Pav's expected to get quite a big media deal with channel 7 and the afl next year and should quickly become one of the big noses, I mean names, alongside Basil in WA AFL commentary. Might be interesting times for Hagdorn if he keeps up the Freo, Ross Lyon, Fyfe bashing. A few public rebuttals or questions over real human sources might create some awkwardness.

Only got the tail end of the call, but the gist was a caller berating the crumpet about all the culture bashing s**t and how it's a one team town and bring back Brad and Karl. Must have made a comment about ratings at some point, as Brad felt compelled to point out that the latest ratings have come out and Sports Today is doing well despite the complaints. :D

Kim Hagdorn on 882 tonight.

"Tonight we have our very own Sam Mitchell on the show talking about his amazing Brownlow medal win."

Please Haggers.......
What I find funny is he hasn't yet realised that none of the West Coast supporters can stand him either. Thought it should have been pretty obvious to him, as you can't have Toast AND Crumpets.
