i am looking for several old night series footy records, from seasons 1978, 1979 and 1983.

As well as the grand final issues for seasons 1982, 1987 and 1989

i am on ebay everyday so i have that base covered.

Not all that you are after are available for viewing online, but majority are.
Go to the State Library of Victoria website and click on the decade and then the year and each match program that has been digitised can be seen via the button near top left to view online. Some of the GF ones you ask about are there, and many of the week-by-week ones as well.
