Thoughts?

Meh, their only crime was losing a game of footy.

If we’d made different decisions, and still lost, a version of this thread would still exist complaining how even a 60% Pendles would have been better than WHE, and that a 60% Mihocek would have still been better than McStay. And that our backline really could have done with Howe’s leadership.

People are complaining that we shoulda taken a punt on Hill. Rest assured if he had and he wasn’t up to it, the same people would have complained that he wasn’t ready and shouldn’t have played.

We take a bunch of gambles every week. Some weeks they pay off, some weeks they don’t.

Feel free to show us how you know he did it in the warmup?
Not sure if it was confirmed or even accurate but I did hear on SEN, they said they saw him talking to medicos in the warm up. They assumed he was perhaps having some awareness on that basis.

May be nothing.

As per posts above, he’d been carrying a tight adductor since the Melbourne game. Chat with Doc apparently confirming to the Doc he was good to go, as he likely would have done prior to the QF. Calf on opposite side to the adductor tightness. Calf a completely new injury which happened when he pushed off in game. While likely related to the adductor, wasn’t an expected outcome.
