Was a bit wet today, so with the bit of spare time I had I came up with these teams of players who will be at least 30 by years end and those who will be no older than 21.

Any thoughts to how a match between these two would go?

The old bunch would win but i would have put McIntosh at Full Back. He is over 30 isnt he?

And Kemp in a forward pocket? Kemp's only home is in the middle of the ground, he has never been a goal kicker.

Good effort Agent86.

I reckon the over 30's would shade 'em, especially when considering the difference between the strength and experience in the key positions. Pace would obviously help out the youngsters .... the old youth vs experience debate.

I think if you were to increase the youngsters age to 22/23, the side would be A LOT better, and would definitely come close to beating 'em.

Pretty interesting to think about how they would match up against each other.... Over 30's by 5 goals.

The oldies by 7-8 goals - it wouldn't be close but it would be fascinating to watch.
